Had door installed very pleased and tidy workmen all around more than happy

Had 6 windows installed from start they actually turned up at the time they said you would,then interdicted themselves by name and head joiner said if you have questions just to ask or worries as I was slightly worried about the thought of the upheaval. But I soon relaxed when I seen the dust sheets covered everything and the head joiner put me at rest as he explained the whole procedure from start to finish. I had a few questions but they were answered for me. They also had a installation manager who came on sight to inspect the work carried out. I can honestly say I’m delighted.

First off, I was approached by a friendly guy at my front door who explained about the local work they were doing and at that time I was very interested in looking into getting my windows and doors replaced with them. I mentioned to him that it would probably be in the next year that we would be upgrading, but he said that was no problem and it would be a quote only visit. So with all this said, I organised an appointment the following evening at 8pm.

8pm the following day arrived and I answered the door to an older gentleman. He came straight in and introduced himself to my husband and it was if I was invisible. My husband had the football on the laptop and the guy said that it was clear my husband was busy so would come back tomorrow at 6, despite me being free and willing to show him round the house. The guy was in the house all of 30 seconds and left saying he would be back the next evening at 6. Very clear he was just wanting out the house...

So 6pm the following evening came and went and nobody arrived. Very disappointed with the overall attitude and jurassic period-aged views.

After having offered to visit us at 8pm on the 8th of July to offer us a quote for our windows and doors, they never showed. Worse still, they had phoned at lunch time the same day to confirm that the meeting was going ahead. I would also like the add the gentleman who came to the door was professional and friendly and offered a pressure free visit that would only take 20 minutes or so however during the confirmation call, i was advised it would take 45 minutes.... this whole thing put everything back in my evening and was inconvenient. Very poor customer service and we wont be going back to them.

I got a Canopy (Conservatory without the windows). Apparently 10 year guarantee. After a year it started leaking, have had them out twice now over the last few months and it is still leaking. My furniture has been damaged and feel like getting ignore, when calling said would pass details on and not replying to emails.

Not impressed

I was cold called and told no salesman would call they would come and measure and I would choose my door and that would be that. A salesman called with the usual speil buy today and we will fit you in because Mrs brown down the round is going into hospital for a hip replacement so we could fit you in in the next couple of weeks, not so,he then went on to say it would be 3-4 weeks, not so. After 5 weeks I had to contact the firm as I had heard nothing about my door when I was told it could take 5-6 weeks. I then got a call giving me a fitting date. I wonder how long it would have taken if I hadn't called!I asked for a morning call and by 10am nobody had arrived,I tried to call Surefit but there offices don't open till 11am. When I eventually got through to be told he was on his way but he still hadn't arrived by 12. The door was eventually fitted that day but with a few problems first he looked us out when showing me how to use the lock then tore some wallpaper,left black marks on my carpet and when I pointed out a mark on the door he told me not to worry he would get it off but unfortunately that didn't happen either. I also felt the lock felt a bit crunchie but was told that was normal,I don't think so. I emailed the firm with my concerns but as yet they haven't bothered to reply. I think the owners and workers of Surefit should go on a customer care course as they don't have any customer service skills. So beware if they come knocking don't believe a word they say find another company.

My experience started with a young man who chapped my door at 5 15pm and asked if it was ok to talk for 5 mins ,iv e had 5 maybe 6 people at my door barking at me and telling me just how bad my windows are and how old they are or how badly fitted theve been !!!! go away !!!!

after a couple of mins with this man i had actually forgot why he was here ,he asked if i was getting any problems with my windows and then explained thouroughly why i was getting these problems ,so i agreed for a quote .

(this is usually when the nightmare begins )

however ........i got a call two hours before my appt just to make sure it was still ok to come round at 6 ,which was fine ,a nice man turned up and spent time listening to what i needed instead of what he wanted to sell!!!

cut a long story short 8 new windows and just about to call them for a new front door ,never had a single problem from start to finish with anybody from company ,very proffessional and patient which is a rare nowadays !!!!

Hi I just had to add my anger in the way the work was carried out at my house I had all windows and doors replaced I was tilt 4 working days with a full team ended up 8 days with one man there most days on his own after work was finished with the one man work was ok then I notice all the bricks round the garden were broken also one of the windows was not sealed so after 6to7phone calls so called joiner came to seal the window but this was below him and he started shouting at my wife saying we were waiting his time my wife is a 69 year old women but that did not bother him I feel very strongly about this as we paid a lot of money for this work I think you will know who this is from but very unhappy customer.

Replaced all our tired draughty windows and doors. Good quality windows with a wide choice of styles and finishes. Work completed quickly and snagging rectified with a minimum of fuss.

Having had various rougues in from across the central belt (family buisnesses to small joiners !!!) we had had enough,being hoodwinked im my own house is something i take exception to .

we had a chap at the door one evening who was straight to the point and asked if we had thought about replacing our windows,to my suprise my husband listened to him and we took an appointment,6pm next evening the salesman came and gave us a price for 6 months then asked if we could do it earlier he could discount it (what ? no garbage about discount codes or needing dates filled cause were just a small family buisness? )he gave us a few days to make our mind up and left ,all in all about 40 mins start to finish .we went ahead with the work and despite a few minor hicups ie new bridge opening lol weve had a great job done and have alresdy started saving for them to do our kitchen .

start to finish first class !!!!
