Sorry If Anybody Views That I Am Trying To Take Ad

Sorry if anybody views that I am trying to take advantage of a situation but I have managed to locate the manufacturer of the Tubs supplied by the tradeprice group. I am now able to offer parts for these tubs which I believe are unavailable anywhere else in the UK.

I am a retailer of Hot Tubs and supply 2 major brands. I would not recommend the Tubs sold by the tradeprice group but for anybody who owns one and wants to keep it working when it fails I may be able to help.

All of the parts are advertised on Ebay and I have a business address where parts can be collected if necessary.

Tradeprice/Spaserve have taken our industry into disrepute, every UK Hot Tub dealer knew the truth and tried to convey it to the public but nobody would believe us and just thought it was sour grapes.

The moral here is, if it sounds too good to be true, inevitably it is. And believe me I do feel for the people who traded with this organisation

I Too Have Been A Victim Of The Lies The Trade Pri

I too have been a victim of the lies the Trade Price group have told. Fortunately I paid by credit card and received settlement from my bank. My hot tub was due to be delivered to Spain and during my discussions with Simon Foster, he told me that Stuart Cox owned a villa in Spain. These guys have now been declared personally bankcrupt, but I wonder if they have made a full declaration of assets.

I have no details of the Spanish property, which given all the lies they have told, may not exist.Friends, neighbours or ex-employees of Stuart Cox may have details. If you know how to post such a request for information on the web, would you mind posting it requesting information be sent to the Official Receiver's Office, Stoke-on-Trent,ST51UE Ref: Trade Price group

A Quick Note To All Spa Serve Customers, They Have

A quick note to all spa serve customers, they have gone bust today, although this stops them from robbing others, this will not help their long line of out of pocket buyers

I found this review very helpful because... I too was ripped of by this company Spa Serve / Trade Price Hot Tubs and had a long fight to get my money back. I am glad to see that eventually these cow boys have been shut down. Pity it took so long, and so many other honest customers had to be subjected to the distress caused by this company / companies. My husband and I spoke to who promised the earth until he got your money then became unavailable. Have a good retirement Stuart.

I Have Just Gone Through The Courts To Get Judgeme

I have just gone through the courts to get judgement against SpaServe/TradePriceGroup etc. for non delivery of a spa for which I stupidly parted with 7,500 GBP for priority delivery in 6-8 weeks. It was over a year before I got judgement and they have not paid up before the due date - I suspect from other reviews that even their pot of illicitly obtained gold must be getting low now from all of the refunds they are being forced to make. I am worried that I may never see the money again. There must be a criminal offence (fraud??) either being committed or has been committed by these cowboys - where are the police when you need them?

Please Find The Following An Account Of The Purcha

Please find the following an account of the purchase of what should have been a pleasure gift from my husband following two years of stressful and traumatic estate sorting on behalf of my late mother in law who took her own life in October 2007.

The Trade price group, 3 Bunhill Row, London EC1Y 8YZ tel: 0845 094 4668 - Stuart Cox Sales manager - [email protected]

And

Spa Serve 117-118 Anglesey Court, Towers Business Park, Wheelhouse Road, Staffordshire WS15 1UN

April 14 2009 Site visit - purchased Oklahoma hot tub paid £5770.00 by bank cheque. Informed a maximum of 12 to 20 weeks to installation, ideal as we had booked a holiday of a lifetime to Florida from the 15th July 2009 with our son and planned a surprise 40th for my husband on the 5th August 2009.

Following numerous phone calls and emails with, being told a bigger order had come in and we had been pushed back, I began to regret the order. I managed to ascertain a delivery date in September and we finally received our spa on the 21st October 2009 a full 28 weeks after ordering. We did not receive the full order missing parasol, winter cover, and cover lifter. The keypad was sealed by to avoid water seepage as this was a common fault!

Within 4 days the spa was not running right, not maintaining heat, telephone calls to the engineer, always ended with me rebooting the spa and him talking me through the fault. Demanded a full refund!

Again I complained to the General manager and he was not very prompt to offer a compensation package of £488.00, chemicals for three months and a Free 3 year extended warranty programme from the 26.11.09.

We eventually shut the spa down in December due to the weather and lack of usage as we did not trust the spa. We rebooted the spa on the 1st February on instructions from Spaserve to ensure warm water was passed through the pipes etc. It ran ok for a week then the heat light on the keypad continuously flashed even when rebooted, spoke with the office and engineer rang and talked me through yet again the issue was never resolved. I spoke to the engineer on numerous occasions, loss of heat/overheating sometimes up to 46' burning the cover to the spa, let alone if my son of 9 years old had been in it and eventually he suggested I shut the spa down as the light flashing meant that the heat was not being controlled and it was drawing electric continuously. I immediately did so on the 21st May 2010.

I had alarm bells in my head and rang the meter reading through to Scottish power who informed me that my usage was over £1000 in excess of £740 to normal usage, we monitored this from when the spa closed down and it has returned to normal usage, I enclose bills for your perusal. I am paying £221.00 a month to Scottish Power to clear this debt and they agreed that the usage was too high. On the 11th May I had had an electrical Minor works assessment done on the house and all other appliances and circuits were correct.

I eventually had the engineer on site on the 7th June 2010 and he ascertained the key pad was faulty and needed replacing, he stated this could affect electricity input but was not prepared to put it in writing as he was scared he would lose his job. To date I have had one email asking me to photograph the key pad so they can check if they have it in stock received on the 29th June. I have telephoned to state that the engineer knew what was required and have heard nothing since!

I am trying to return the spa and claim a full refund and I believe they do not think I would contact a solicitor so a claim maybe enough to push them to offering this to get rid of me. The customer care and service is diabolical from this company and I want it out of my garden and monies returned, I have aged and my stress levels are intolerable because of this one thing. I do not regret asking my husband to treating me to this following our traumatic time I just wish I had gone to a different company with excellent customer care and service. It is a lot of money to shell out on one luxury but it would have been such a joy to use now I detest looking at it as it has caused no end of anger and stress within my household. I do not want to throw good money after bad but feel I need some legal assistance to end this matter.

I have now appointed a solicitor to try and salvage this mess. I hope this is of some use to some others that were hoping to buy a spa and enjoy, think twice. I am also part of the group mentioned in earlier Reviews on this site. STAY CLEAR OF THEM

Hi I Bought A Hot Tub For The Rade Price Grou

Hi

I bought a hot tub for the rade Price Group in June 2010 for £6995 after being visited by Matt Morehead from TPG. He said the tub was manufactured in American and was of top quality and that delivery could be arranged within 4-6 weeks in paid for in full upfront as this would then be a priority order like most people do. Immediately I received a etter staing it would be 12 weeks and when contacting them was told they had delivery issues and the partners were in America sorting it out............ after waiting weeks alarm bells started to ring with constant excuses for the lengthy delivery and then was told the tubs were madein china by the distribution centre.......I searched the internet and found loads of bad press about TPG ALL relating to the same things. Some people were 12 months down the line still with no hot tubs.

This cmpany Trade Price Group / UK Hot Tubs For Sale / Spa Serve / Magic Spas to name a few of the names they trade under and have websites for all of the DO NOT GO NEAR...................the company take your money and that is where it ends.

I am now part of a group, friendswithclaimsnationwide who now have 80+ people and with new members joining every day who have ripped off by this lot. This has been going on for years and have previously folded 2 LTD companies owing massive amounts of oney to indiciduals and businesses.

Anyone in this postion contact consumer direct and register your case then cotact the group. [email protected]

WARNING do not buy from these people...................

If I Could Have Ranked This Review As A Minus I Wo

If I could have ranked this review as a minus i would have. SpaServe, The Trade Price Group call them by whichever name suits at the time all owned by the same people and operated in the same way. Money upfront for a chinese tub sold as American, which may or may not be delivered, certainly not within the 8 weeks average they quote. I've been waiting for nearly 30 weeks now for my tub to be delivered, they have £4995 of my hard earned money and I do not have my tub. Our contract has been breached and I am demanding a refund through the courts as are the other 80+ in the group Friends with Claims Nationwide over £400k is due in refunds!

do not buy a tub from any of these sites, if you want more information go to Facebook Caveat Emptor (buyer beware) before you go any further.

1. WE are NOT ex employees

2. WE are NOT rival dealer

3. WE have systematically tracked this shocking practise which was first investigated by Watchdog & Trading STandards in 2007 when then called Insparations aka Acara Enterprises Ltd.... Companies HOuse will show you the Insolvency report for £1 you can buy it...... folded for £511,000 & displays all the genuine people & their addresses & how much they 'took' them for back then..... but they just continue trading using new pseudonyms websites bought in advance & ready to go as & when complaints reach saturation level..

I am a member of the group Friends with Claims Nationwide. I can state that at no time have I been approached by a RIVAL company (Please tell me WHO this Rival company is) or coerced in any way into canceling the hot tub I had ordered with The Trade Price Group. I canceled my order in December 2009. I was not aware of this group untill March 2010.

I have been refunded, NOT by The Trade Price Group,I contacted Consumer Direct in December 2009 and followed their advice. On following that advice neither The Trade Price Group or Barclaycard would refund the money, nearly £6,000. After contacting The Financial Ombudsman Services , who found in our favour, Barclaycard gave a FULL REFUND. This whole process took a year from when the order was placed in July 2009, our refund was received in August 2010.

Bottom line is, NO ONE could sell me a hot tub after what has been endured, I have been put off for life.

This statement has been made Without prejudice.

I found this review very helpful because...

I am one of the unfortunates that have bought a tub and am still waiting for the delivery of a tub that probably/possibly will not work. Friends with Claims nationwide are a group of over 80 households who have joined together to fight this company and get our money refunded. We have no links with a rival hot tub supplier nor have I personnaly been contacted by any rival supplier, I am also not an ex employee just a very upset customer who has parted with a substantial amount of money which I intend to have refunded, through the courts if necessary.

Two Years Ago My Husband And I Decided To Buy A Ho

Two years ago my husband and I decided to buy a hot tub. We both suffer from health problems regarding joint degeneration and thought this would be a good form of hydro therapy. Having little knowledge of the product we embarked on a journey of understanding that certainly did nothing to to assist in our well being. Information aquired through many dealers was both conflicting and confusing. We did not know who to believe. Eventually we ordered a hot tub from Trade Price Hot Tubs over the internet. This led to a lengthy battle to recover our money due to un truths and lies.

After a lengthy process we located a local company and after much research via its existing clientel we finally ordered and recieved our hot tub A Rendezvous made by Vita Spa an American Company. The company that Supplied it was Bob Brady Hot Tubs Omagh Ltd website www.hottubsltd.com telephone 028 822 55 999. When we saw the time it took to install, programme and talk us through the chemicals, mainteneance and working of the tub we wondered why we had ever considered buying over the internet. Initially when we spoke to Bob Brady at length he advised us to put the tub outdoors, I am so glad we took his advice. We are so pleased with the hot tub, the service we have received and the back up he has provided. We would never shop anywhere else again. He has been marvellous. Hot Tubs Omagh Ltd provide replacement chemicals and dispatch them the following day. They offer continual support and provide a maintenance service which others have informed us is second to none. Bob even give me his mobile number. The tub was to be supplied on the 16th June at 12 noon 2010 and true to his word it was delivered at 1205 hrs on the promised date.

Thankyou Bob and Sam for all your assistance, advice and for a fabulous product. By the way we live in Northern Ireland. I am not sure if they supply to UK mainland.
