I Have Had A Insparations Bocca Grande Since May 2
I have had a Insparations Bocca Grande since May 2005 (3 years). In the first year I had problems with the controls and the pump. Both times they travelled down to Kent and replaced them within a week. The past few months I have had problems with the small and medium size jets coming out during use. On closer inspection I have noticed the white plastic fitting which goes into the jet hole has become brittle - thus, the part which 'clicks' the jet into place has broken with use. Almost all the jets come out easily now. The spa actually came from Gulf Coast Spas in the USA (http://www.gulfcoastspas.com). I have contacted them for further advice as Insparations are no longer trading. At present I give a 5 in my review awaiting information from Gulf Spa, I will let you know if I hear back.

We Also Had Very Similar Problems With Insparation
We also had very similar problems with Insparations, told it would arrive in 3 to 6 weeks, took 16 weeks, they never return calls, they are very rude on the phone and as The Boss, he left us his personal mobile in case we have problems and it is never switched on.
ANYWAY it comes as no suprise to find they have now gone into liquidation. The warranty side is supposed to have been taken over by a company called Spaserve (which is run by the boss's brother in law) who was Insparations 24hr helpline. We will wait and see if they are any better than Insparations.
Hi. Can you tell me how you know Spa Serve is run by the brother-in-law, as I have an interest in Spa Serve.

We Ordered And Paid A Large Deposit On The 6th Jul
We ordered and paid a large deposit on the 6th July 2006. After too many calls and visits to list, our tub was finally installed on the 1st November 2006 !!! The attitude of the Insparations customer service advisors is terrible. The point is, they had received our money and didn't care when we would get our tub. We too were promised compensation, but of course it was never received.
The excitement of having the tub was very quickly taken from us.

We Also Had A Delay In Delivery Of Our Insparation
We also had a delay in delivery of our Insparations Boca Grande, in summer 2005, blamed by Insparations on shipping problems in the US. We were told we would receive compensation but have never seen any. We also paid up front, early June 2005, with the tub finally being installed in September. The tub was faulty about one month after installation. The fitters, to be fair, came out quite quickly and did a repair, but it went again and the whole of the computer system and pipes and pumps had to be replaced, we have only the original shell left, the rest has been replaced. The original contract with Insparations gave us one year's supply of cleaning products to be automatically sent to us every 60 days. We have had to chase each time, people there take messages and they don't return calls, very frustrating! This summer, they changed from Aquaclara to a newer cleaner and we have not received anything from them since April, despite our contract ending in Sept. 06, they have not fulfilled their contract with us and we have sent many letters, emails and made calls. We have now written to Watchdog. I am very happy with the tub but not with the supplier. Would not recommend Insparations to new buyers.

Monday 5th May - It Seemed Like A Good Company Whe
Monday 5th May - It seemed like a good company when we first looked into buying an Insparations Boca Grande Spa, good website and good looking offers. Saleswoman seemed to know what she was talking about and we parted with all our cash at the end of May, as asked. The reason for wanting all the cash up front seemed valid although we were not really happy to pay for something before we had received it. It was only further down the line when we had to chase them for our order, that the bad attitude of the customer services started alarm bells ringing. They had little interest in the fact we had parted with best part of £9000 and I was bluntly told on the phone that they didn't know what was coming over on the shipments and couldn't give me a date for delivery. The woman I spoke to had a poor attitude and very bad customer service skills. Our delivery date was changed twice and it went from the end of July to finally 14th August. I had to ring Insparations on the Friday before, as I still hadn't had confirmation and times from them. I was told a letter had been sent and I should know (how rude) we were given an early appointment time and as no-one had arrived by 11:00, I again rang and asked where they were. The rude woman on the phone told me that they were coming from Stoke and I had to understand about traffic. When the fitters finally arrived they had only brought the spa. I was told that someone should have told me that I would not be getting the gazebo, steps, oils, mats, and light, all these things paid for at the end of May, nearly 3 months earlier. I again rang them and was told it didn't come on the shipment and they didn't know when it would come. Their 'I don't care' attitude was disgusting. We had no contact from them to say when things were coming no apologies or reassurance, we constantly had to phone them. Insparations never return a call. This week September 10th, the gazebo finally turned up after us getting really angry on the phone. We were told by the fitter that loads of customers are waiting for their orders and it's a case of who shouts loudest(how bad is that?). The gazebo is poor quality to say the least, there are marks all over it, it has been put together really poorly, and in my opinion it is not worth £100 never mind the £3.388 that we were charged. We spoke to someone last week and in true Insparations style, he has yet to get back to us. My advice to you is do not use Insparations.
