Country
Georgia is not overcrowded already by a lot of tourists. You have the space to discover, to enjoy, having fun and close contacts with the local -, friendly people. In Georgia you can also enjoy culture and nature.

Language.
The Georgian language is in speaking and writing, total different from the types of writing and speaking in the whole world. Georgia does have their own language. Do not say against Georgians that the Georgian language looks like the Russian language.

Church.
The Georgian Orthodox Church was already established as from 4 e century after Christ. There are many churches and convents in the cities and in the country. One is more beautiful than the other. It is my advice to visit a church service on Sunday, which lasts many times longer than 3 hours. You do not have to remain all those hours in the church. If you wish, you can simply interrupt the service for a while and come back later.

Nature.
Georgia has a lot of types of nature. Semi deserts vary grassy green meadows, sandy beaches, etc.. The coast temperature is subtropical. The highest mountains of Europe (above the 5000 meters, therefore snow-guarantee) are in Georgia.

To sleep.
In Tbilisi there are all kind of hotels from 5 stars. - To simple hotels. Sleeping by private people pensions (home stays) and at individuals is much cheaper and very nice. In the inland country there are fewer hotels. There you sleep by individuals in their pensions or at home stays and that is very nice, because you have directly contact with the Georgians.

Wine and food.
My Georgian friends once told me when we were speaking about being in time: You have the clock - but we have the time -.By eating and drinking Georgians does have the time: Via the toastmaster, they enjoy from their excellent wines, the YaYa and their meals. A lot of toasts are celebrated on all kind of important and unimportant subjects. Do not toast with beer.

Sport-loving
You can enjoy in Georgia for example. Biking, hiking, walking, skiing, diving, rafting, paragliding, fishing, hunting, mountain climbing, bird watching, mountain biking and much more. Winterport: do you know that at the end of November till by the end of April in Georgia - you can ski?

What kind of holidays? Georgia is a great country to make all kind of roundtrips. For example a combination of a week in the mountains in combination with a week (or more) on the beach.
