My fiancée and I had a lovely weekend away and decided to end it with friends and family with a Chinese at paddyfields. We had been there before and the food was 'ok' but nothing special. We were all pretty hungry and the food came in about 4 minutes after we had ordered (6 main dishes) which seemed a bit too quick. We started dishing our food up and one of us found a RED AND BLACK MAGGOT!! It was either a maggot or another bug of some kind...
When the owners were told they took the dish away and came back explaining he thought it was just a lettuce leaf, did he think we were that stupid?
There was absolutely no apology so we stood up and walked out, leaving all the food un-eaten and very annoyed. I WOULD NEVER RECCOMMEND THIS PLACE AS SOMEWHERE TO EAT!! it is more of a place to buy your fishing bait!!! The owner (bloke with the high voice) told us to go to then papers and wirte a bad review on him as he didnt care.
