Avoid, avoid, avoid!

Tried to arrange a fire dancing class for our friend's hen do in London. We agreed dates with chillisauce, confirmed numbers and were asked to get each hen to pay their fee directly via the website.

A few weeks later (after many payments had been processed) the lead bridesmaid was called to say that we could no longer have our chosen class because the instructor had the day off. We immediately lost confidence in the company do decided not to change the class but cancel with them and go elsewhere. We were told all the hens would receive a full refund within 3 days... A week later nobody had received a refund. We called chillisauce to ask why and were told that no-one had processed the refunds. The Manager then assured us he was processing the refunds immediately. A week later, I received a refund for £11 less than I had paid, others didn't receive anything and the lucky ones who did receive a full refund didn't get back the 'booking fee' - call me old fashioned but I would consider a booking fee something that is only charged when the booking is actually going ahead!

This still hasn't been resolved and 4 different girls have so far had to call to complain. It may be that we all have to call our credit card companies and instruct them to recover the money. Suffice to say, the fact that chillisauce are incapable of a simple refund process has assured me that we made the right decision choosing not to let them be in charge of organising our friend's hen do! My advice is to avoid chillisauce hen and stags like the plague.
