This item was advertised in the Mail on Saturday. I spent a couple of days dithering and took the plunge and ordered the item. They told me it would take upto five days delivery instead of the next day as advertised. I pleaded with them and lo and behold it arrived next day.
I have only used the hedge cutter up to now and it was a joy to use.The blade is a doddle to insert and remove. If I was to introduce a slight negative it is the switches are a bit strong and if you have a weak grip it may give you a problem. It is well worth the five stars..

Strongly disagree with the 5 star rating. I found the Gtech HT04 hedge trimmer to be totally useless upon tackling anything more than privet hedging. It really struggles when faced with leylandi for example and can best be described as 'useful for the finishing touches of an already completed hedge' Agree
with this reviewer about switches - you have to have very muscular fingers in order to operate the Gtech HT04!

Sorry if you think I misled you , but I did use it on a privet hedge.
I still think it is well worth the money after using it for about twelve month

Fair enough. You didn't mislead me by the way - how we're you to know what the Gtech HT04 was like on leylandi, if you use it solely for cutting a privet hedge? Glad you are happy with it. The cutting blade just went out of sync on mine and ripped, rather than cut the leylandi. This is the reason I am totally unhappy with this product -especially after only 5 or 6 times of use!
