Its the personal touch which mattered

Having had many years of experience with the "big name" health insurers I was becoming very discouraged by the annual, substantial hike in premiums and the increasingly distant and remote relationship they offered. Last year I thought I had fund a solution with an on-line agent who had a personal approach, offered personal advice and achieved a signifcant cost reduction for us. This year, as the renewal date approached I didn't hear a word from them and when I tried to contact them I found that my contacts had left and that I would have to wait in a queue for several days to get atention. They are a very small operation.

Fortunately, last year I also made contact with Nikki Pickerill at Chase Templeton who, despite not winning our business, took the trouble to contact me at her own initiative this year. I was worried that changing again after only a year would be a disadvantage in terms of coverage but in fact found that by changing agent and the underwriter Nikki was able to get better coverage with no discontinuity at a better price.

Nothing was too much trouble for her so we have gone with Chase Templeton and AVIVA and I have no doubts that next year Chase Templeton will need no chasing by me to search the market again for the best deal for us and give advice without me needing to chase.
