I had a Bupa dental insurance and it covered me for dental treatments up to 75% after four months of cover. I had fissure sealants done which my dentist said were a form of filling (and fillings are covered as dental treatments). After submitting the claim, I was told fissure sealants were not covered even though they are one of the first items listed on their claim form. I cancelled my policy with Bupa.
