Don't Go For A Colour!!

I booked the appointment and was told that as I have thick hair the slices of colour would hardly show, so we agreed to put them in the front. I was then told that I have have previously coloured my hair (approx 6 months ago) they would have to lighten my hair to add in any colour. I agreed to this at an additional cost of £10. We started the process and once lightened they added in purple. It was clearly a trainee who was carrying out the work. During the process I found it quite unprofessional they they were moaning they only got £7 from a £14 Wowcher and the cost of hair colour outweighed any profit etc...I then had it cut, blow dried and straightened. When the transaction went through they actually charged me an extra £15, not the £10 I had agreed. At no point did the owner of the salon check my colour or cut. I left and when I got home and looked at it properly in a large mirror to my horror I saw 3 or 4 ginger (lightened pieces) strands to one side that had been missed by the purple. I phoned the salon straight away and was told to come in to have some more purple applied. I did this and left with the purple on my hair for me to wash off at home. Again the trainee did this and nobody checked it. I was disappointed as it was a waste of time me having it previously straightened as I had to go home and then wash it off, not to mention the mess to my own bathroom.

I put my hair up and left it to dry.

The following morning when my hair was dry I inspected it and found a further ginger piece at the back they had missed. By this time I was angry bearing in mind I had been twice at this point and it is a 30 mins drive from my home. I phoned the salon and the owner said you may as well come in and get some purple colour then and do it yourself if it keeps fading. I said it's not fading it has been missed, she then went on to say that my hair was too thick to cover properly, more like a trainee was left doing the task and it wasn't actually checked by anybody. She said she would give me some purple colour so I can finish it off at home. I drove to the salon for a 3rd time and collected the tiniest pot of colour and a brush. They had put some purple from the tube into a pot. I asked for some gloves and they wouldn't even give me any as they said they cost £3 a pair to them! It is clear they have no customer service care, the owner never even apologised, treated me more like a pain and never even offered to reimburse my £15 extra I had paid.

All in all I am disgusted that I have paid £29 (£14 Wowcher and £15 extra) had to visit the salon 3 times and basically do the job myself!!
