Consistently Good Cut

I have had my hair cut by Jay for about 10 years. I first went to him a few moinths before my wedding and he worked with me to create a good shape that would look nice on photos.

Since then he has constantly delivered a great cut every time.

Cut And Blow Fine Anything Else Dont Bother

I had my hair badly highlighted by this 'hairdresser'. I normally have nice light golden blonde tones put through my naturally red hair. The stylist took 2 hours to put the colour on. Far too many foils. I've had my hair highlighted for the past 14 years and never had that much foil on my head. When she finally took the colour off she put a purple toner through ir even though I requested not to. My usual lovely golden blonde highlights were now white. I went home and was devastated. To be fair to the salon I did go back the next day and they did try to correct. Although no longer white I now look like I have dirty/very blonde highlights in my hair 8 weeks before my wedding. I'm now going to have to spend a small fortune at another salon getting this corrected before the big day. Never touching my hair again.

What You Expect

Very friendly and exactly what you want from a local hair salon. I always make sure to book jay however as he seems to be very good!

Not The Place To Go For Highlights

I couldn't make it to my usual hairdresser before Christmas so thought I would try a local salon. The price was similar to where I normally go so was hoping for a good service.

I was going for a fairly drastic change but came out with hair more than an inch shorter than I wanted because that was what it took for the stylist to get it level!

As for the colour - one word striped. When I finally did get back to my usual hairdresser she said there was no pattern to the colour - dark, light, light, light, dark. And it looked a mess.

I had no confidence in the stylist but didn't feel brave enough to walk out as she spent a lot of the session telling me about how her boyfriend could have anyone thrown out of the pubs in Halifax.
