“Appalling customer service....”

I booked a course with KM, i had done my research and seen a couple of things that concerned me however i thought these were years ago and couldn't find anything recent . i was excited to do the course and get started in extensions. However this was short lived when my course was cancelled the night before i was due to attend. I was told this was due to the trainer been unavailable as her son was taken to hospital - this isn't the issue, the reason why i writing this review is the sheer unprofessional attitude afterwards..... After the course was cancelled i was speaking to a staff member via email she offered me alternative courses but i wasn't able to do any of them due to work/commitments. she was lovely however considering how much money i had paid nothing was getting sorted as quickly as it probably should of been and i was very wary that the money was paid via bank transfer, not paypal/debit card. There was a period where i hadn't received a response over a couple of days , so i called the number on the website and was told that i would receive a call back when someone was free. So i waited for hours hadn't heard anything so decided to call back this time i got the same person and he was rude and abrupt and when i asked if he could help me his answer was no and he would only be able to take my details. Again i waited for a call which i never got so i called again, same thing. By this point i was extremely annoyed with the attitude of this person and felt completely fobbed off so i wrote an email requesting a refund or i would be taking things further, heard nothing again so i decided to ring my bank and report it as a sham in a bid to get my money back as by this point i had delved deeper and read alot of reviews on forums and online about issues people were having getting refunds/certificates or even getting calls back from them after weeks. Straight after getting off the phone to my bank i received a call back from someone offering a refund or training so i told them i would like a refund... i called my bank back to cancel the investigation. 2 days later i only received the deposit back via paypal so i questioned this eventually after chasing again i had a call saying the money had been frozen and they couldn't refund it (this was because the bank hadn't canceled the investigation) however the attitude i received was that i was in the wrong so i pointed out that if i hadn't been ignored or fobbed off i wouldn't of had to ring my bank!! i was told that wasn't the case - by this point i couldn't be bothered to argue i just wanted my money back. i spoke to my bank who was very wary of cancelling the investigation however i told them i had received a part refund via paypal and an hour later the rest came back to my account. Its all now sorted however i would recommend swerving this company their attitude to customers is appalling and you are treated as an inconvenience for their mishaps, i think i had a lucky escape reading some of the reviews!!

“The worst company! ”

Selected my date and paid deposit to be told date was full and deposit non refundable and had to pick another. When I did finally find a suitable date training was good but the trainer was rushed and cut the course short - kept telling us she had a flight to catch. Took 9 weeks for me to receive my certificate after completing everything! Then made my first order for beads thread etc , order came completely wrong and it took 3 weeks of calls and emails for the right order to finally arrive. I then stupidly ordered hair from them - 2 90g wefts in the same colour I received one and it's now been 10 days over 20 phone calls and emails and they finally sent out the 2nd weft in the wrong colour!!! Everyone I speak to it's not their problem and still have not received the correct colour. Considering trading standards as I feel as if I have been robbed and now lost my client because of them.

“Very Bad Experience! So Unprofessional!”

I attended km hair extension course on 27th March 2017. The class was a small number with six people, so the tutor got to come around everyone individually to help out which was great! Everything ran smoothly and I felt like I learnt alot whenever I left - then everything went downhill from there! At the course we were told we had to complete a case study three months prior to our course. I ordered a colour ring and received this within 2 days (which was great!) I matched my models hair colour up and then placed my order for bonds, thread and hair extensions (10th May 2017). Two days later I received the bonds & thread but no hair - I emailed to see what had happened and the account manager explained that the hair was out of stock and put on back order. From then on every single one of my emails regarding this situation have been ignored- which is very unprofessional!! I have also rang up La Weave numerous times and every single time I rang up no one could help me with my order and they took my name and contact details to pass on to a member of management. Why the person on the phone could not help me out I do not know - is that not their jobs? Why would they put up a contact number on their website if the person on the line cannot help their customers! (Again unprofessional). I then went back on to the website and came across a "message" saying that all the hair was now on SALE as they are getting a new range in! So of course I panicked and rang up again to see what was going on. Again no one could tell me anything and they took my name and contact number!!! I then did receive a phone call from a member of the management team - who apologised. He apologised for his account manager who ignored all my e-mails. He then told me that my order got messed up and that my order was down as processed therefore they thought I had received everything. He then began to tell me that the hair I had ordered is now out of stock and that they would not be getting it back in stock as they're waiting on a new range to come back in. He asked me if I wanted to wait another few weeks for the new hair to come through- at the time of the phone call I couldn't tell him my answer as I had to get in contact with my client to see if she was happy to wait for another few weeks ( she has now been waiting three months ). So I told him I would contact him back straight away whenever I got in contact with my client. I have now been trying to get back in contact this past 2 weeks and everytime he is unavailable to speak to me. I have yet to get a refund or speak to a member of management. My client is very upset that she's had to wait this long! It is just unacceptable and very unprofessional!! I will continue to ring until I get this situation sorted out!! But whenever I get my refund (If I do) I will not be ordering from La Weave again! I haven't even received my certificate as I couldn't even do my case study! And the amount of money I have lost due to Km Hair Extension Training/ La Weave is unavailable!!!

“Avoid!!”

Very unprofessional, I cancelled my booking after asking for accreditation details which they wouldn't provide (therefore my insurance wouldn't cover it). Had to get paypal involved to obtain a refund. A business that doesn't comply with basic Consumer rights and hopes you won't know it is one to stay away from!!

“Disgraceful ”

Booked in Jan they cancelled 4 months in a row after payment I took the time of work unpaid to travel to a different town only to be told each time more than an hour after the course was due to start that it was cancelled so after that u are meant to get ur course manual within the week no I spent 2 months emailing phoning texting before I finally got it then sent my wrk in 2 months ago they haven't sent my certificate have phoned every day for 3 wks all they say is how there busy take my number saying they will ring bk but never do I'm absolutely disgusted with the way I have been treated it took me months to save for this course and was so excited in my eyes they have basically stole my money the most unprofessional company I've ever come across an i will be going to my solicitor and taking legal action do NOT use this company go with belle hair the only good thing about this course was the trainer

Oh my goodness i am having the exact same problem!! 3 months down the line after sending my case evidence in and no certificate!! No replies to emails , constantly fobbed off and promised manager call backs but nothing! Their are disgraceful! Have you gotten anywhere? Could do with some advice xx

“Unproffesional!!”

I booked a course and it got cancelled not even half hour before I was due to travel up! I have not yet been fully refunded and this was in April! The person I was dealing with told me the money had gone in well over a month ago and I'm still waiting for it! The admin team refuse to speak with me as I'm supposedly speaking unprofessionally?! I spent a lot of money on a course and travel, plus a wasted day off work and I didn't get to do what id put myself forward for and I'm suppose to be calm... okay! I suggest anyone looking to book through this company look else where. I intend to go very much so public with this as I have family that work in advertising. I'm utterly un-impressed!!

“Disorganised, rude and don't reply”

- no receipt for training eventhough I asked via email nearly 20 times - trainer was an hour and a half late. This meant I was late for my client losing me money and my parking was £14 - course was more of a question time rather than actually giving information. Appeared like a test eventhough barely any information was given - bizarre. Basically got the students to do all the talking - trainer (owner) laughed when students made a mistake - Trainer could not work tv so we had to huddle around a tiny laptop - Trainer kept getting our names wrong eventhough there was only three people on course - took four weeks to get an emailed copy of certificate after I had sent case study in a month ago - spelling mistakes throughout all manuals - huge delays in replies to any messages - no answer on any of the phones. One of the numbers just has a spanish answerphone - Students on the course were appalled at how badly run everything was Highly suspect this company is going bust, not enough staff, very disorganised and no apologies for all it's failings
