Warning: Only young people fresh, loud, men gelled hair and loud ties and women slender and preferably blonde need apply.
Arriving at 12:35 as we'd been instructed to arrive for 12:45 promptly for the assessment day starting at 1pm, my first experience of Pareto was being made to wait for 15 minutes with 12 other applicants on the pavement in the January cold as we weren't allowed into the lobby as they weren't

I actually disagree with this completely. I went along to this exact Assessment Day and i thought the running of the day was very smooth and the staff were really friendly. Having been a successful candidate i think this review is purely a reflection of bitterness, as i am guessing you weren't successful. The decisions they make are based on whether you will be successful in sales and it is unfair to slate a company that clearly works very hard. You should be grateful that you even had the opportunity to be put forward for the assessment. Having been successful for less than 24 hours i have already been put forwards for excellent opportunities. Anyone that is looking for a career in sales should use Pareto Law.

Jealous! I'm blonde, got in a couple of weeks ago and the reason I got through was because I rehearsed everything!
Don't be bitter, move onto the next, sales is all about how you cope with rejection - you may want to change your career path if you get upset over an assessment day!
