I discovered James Andrews School of Golf a few years ago, and I return every year for many reasons. I find it very well run & excellent value. I like the Videoing as it gives you a more memorable view of what to do in your swing etc. The small group number is ideal. The instructors & set up are 1st class, the use of the 18 holes & 9 holes course will compliment your learning so will the 7 practice greens. The 2 courses are superb, challenging & enjoyable.
The School caters for all levels, variety of classes (1, 2, 3 days or 1/2 days, or more), international feel about the place as very often you meet students from the Continent.
The Golf Hotel is extremely pleasant (what I call "rustic chic"). The Restaurant offers a variety of delicious local freshly cooked food (fish is recommended (place your order at breakfast, so the super efficient & frienldy Manager can make her choice at Fish Market).
Adjacent to the Restaurant, there is a bar and games room, outside is a large terrace with lovely garden furniture where one can drink or eat looking at the 7 greens and Golf hotel down below.
Proshop is well stocked, friendly (one year I got the loan of a brand new set of lefthanded Ladies golf clubs to try out!!!!), the driving range is huge, distance posts in the field.
A 1st class Golf School with very professional & pleasant staff.
I strongly recommend to try James Andrews Golf School in the beautiful "1066" Sussex contryside (Battle is down the road and worth a visit) .
