Do NOT Purchase YOU are 'fined' £200 to return Faulty Goods

We ordered our 6 seater reclining Rattan dining suite at last year's Ideal Home Show on 23 March 2014 priced at £999 and we're promised that the dining set would be delivered by the end of April. After unanswered telephone calls and emails the furniture finally arrived on 13/06/14, damaged and with the wrong colour cushions.
We were advised this would be rectified ASAP, it wasn't.
After only 4 weeks of indoor light use the reclining chairs completely broke as they were of inferior quality for the price you pay.
We contacted Regatta, and 3 times they sent the wrong replacement chairs and 'no shows' via the driver of which we had wasted time taken off work to receive the delivery.
Eventually we'd had enough and asked for a refund. After numerous phone calls (mostly unanswered) they finally agreed to take the furniture. But the worst thing was they said in their T & Cs we were not to receive a full refund as the furniture had been used (which we were told to do) and we would incur a 'fine' of £200!
I am gobsmacked to see that this so called company is back at the Ideal Home Show this year, as their customer service is appalling and they have no present stock to deliver but take full payment at the show.
I am pleased to say we bought a far superior suite from Bramblecrest for the same price in the sale at Alton Garden Centre whilst we were waiting for our partial refund which we received September.
