We have visited twice over the Easter holidays and the kids had a great time, they were given a free sunflower a few weeks back and over easter they got to paint a pot to plant it in, they had an Easter rabbit hunt, face painting and got to meet a giant Easter bunny and tigger. The staff were very friendly and were great with the children, especially karla and the man with the camera (sorry can't remember his name!) we also got to stroke a rabbit and Colin the chameleon. Gordon's bistro has a little area with some toys in it so the kids can play and you can enjoy a coffee in peace!

On searching the internet for Chempak Calcium I found you were about the only site who had a supply. Price quite acceptable. Item is what I require for my Bramley apple tree to try and stop pitting.

if you need anything for your garden, fish pond, pets or just a small gift then go to Godon Riggs I do and 99% of the time I go home with what I have gone for, or just a look round and a coffee and cake is good if you just need to get out of the house for a while. The one and only time I have been unhappy was a telephone call to a lady who was going to phone me back regarding some vases (7) I needed for a wedding and she needed to speak to there supplier and she never phoned me back.

The items were delivered before the 3 to 5 working days passed. After 2 days I received the goods well packed and in good order.

The baskets were planted in a sec. The plants are still quit small so watering has to be done slow and with a little bit of care as not to wash away the soil. This should be better when they root and grow. The water seemed to be contained well but of course not tested with warm bright days as we had none so far.

Looking forward to having a full and healthy basket even on the south side of the house.

My product was easy to find, came very quick, I wasnt even expecting it. But made my day. Packaging excellent!

My order took over a week to arrive, which I thought was a bit slow. But it did arrive and I wasn't in too much of a hurry for the items so it didn't really matter. Otherwise all was fine.

I love it when spring arrives as I know its time to think about my first trip of the year to Gordon Riggs. The selection of plants, gifts furniture etc is vast, the plants are always very healthy and I've always found the staff extremely pleasant. I've been visiting for as long as I can remember and although its changed quite a lot from the little nursery it once was its still excellent value for money and my first choice every time! Here's to many more years of success.........

Gordon Riggs in Walsden is in my opinion the best garden centre in the world, I love how it has grown over the years and every visit there seems to be something new, I always find what I am looking for when I go and more often than not find lots of things I wasn't looking for. I have decided to grow my own veg with my daughter this year and have found everything we could want at Riggs along with friendly helpful advice from their staff who are always on hand to answer any questions but are never pushy with sales. Their prices are very competative, everything is very reasonable.

My 2 year old daughter loves it there, she likes looking at the the marine fish, starfish and the tortioses and loves "driving" in their car trollies In fact we took her to the zoo the other week and halfway round she asked if we could go to the garden centre now! I always let her have a ride on the reindeer in the house plants dep, because I used to ride on it too when I was a child, I can't believe it's still going.

Oh and there is no place on earth that is as Christmassy as Riggs in December, even turkeys would come out all excited for the big day!
