I have purchased a number of items from Dandy and have always received prmpt and responsive service.

My order, promised in time for the bank holiday weekend was not delivered. I am now not able to do this project. i was not informed of any delay either. If you need something on time, go elsewhere.

Dreadful delivery man. Arrived in our rural area in a massive lorry that could have only ever delivered to an empty supermarket car park with broken pallet and pallet truck not fit for purpose. Left soil by road 200 m from our house. Soil is incredibly sandy and really not great. It weighed as much as builders sand to lift. On the plus side it had no stones or rubbish in it but overall Disappointed.

Ordered 2 jumbo bags of decorative chip pings. Excellent service from sample to order to delivery advice and time. Only reason for not 5 stars was that the pallets arrived partially smashed and only the skill of the driver got them off the vehicle. The pallets seem of minimum quality to carry a tonne and pass through 2 delivery depots on the way, so have to stand multiple fork lift movements. Despite the last comment, I would recommend Dandy's to others.

Delivery is free but as I needed to have it delivered at the weekend delivery was £30. Delivery arrived on time, the driver got out and after understanding it was me who ordered the wood chips launched into an angry list of things he doesn't or won't do. He then said if I don't get all of the (f-ing)cars near my property moved or he wasn't going to (f-ing) deliver anything. I live on a street where we are the only one's with off-street parking so everyone else parks where they can. Also it's more than wide enough for bin-lorry, supermarket delivery vans and other large vehicles. He then really started F-ing and blinding and told me to "get the F over there and if I hit any cars it's your f-ing lookout". Needless to say he managed it fine with space to spare. I'd already been told in no uncertain terms he wouldn't leave it by the garden gate so I asked if he could leave it in-front of our car so we didn't inconvenience anyone. He said he'd leave it where he f-ing wanted to and blocked in both ours and neighbour's car. At that point I just wanted him gone so signed the receipt. The wood chips were great and definitely value for money and a quality product, would I order from then again? probably not as life is too short to have to deal with people like that. It's such a shame because you can have as many friendly emails saying the "item has been dispatched :)" but if the only person linked to the company you engage with the most is the person who delivers it it can really taint the whole experience.

Ordered a bulk bag of soil. Left clear instructions for the driver to leave the bag on my drive with a contact phone number in case of any problems. Found a massive bag left at the roadside one hundred feet from my gate. It will take me weeks to shift and during this time will present a risk to pedestrians and road users. Emailed the company on their transport and sales addresses but received no reply. A phone call to the company was met with a similar non- response. I would not recommend this company and would certainly not use them again.

fantastic quality,could not be faulted.there were no foreign bodies, stones or any sign of weeds etc.I would recommend this product from your company to anybody wanting the best quality topsoil at a very competitive price. The delivery was spot on to the agreed schedule. Altogether a very satisfied customer.

I recently purchased some top soil to level off a patchy uneven garden. I called the office to ask advice on what type of soil I needed and the lady was very helpful, offering advice on the best type of soil and how to apply. The website was easy to use and when the product turned up the driver again was very helpful in putting the bulk bag where I wanted it to go. Product great Service even better. Would definitely consider for future use

Delivered on time with a helpful driver. Product was terrific, easy to lay and green shoots within a week. Lush grass within a month. Much easier to lay than turf and a better final result.

Ordered on the Thursday arrived Friday in time to get cracking over the Bank Holiday. Very pleased with the top soil no stones, very pleasant delivery man in all very satisfied.

The soil and bark we ordered were great. The service was prompt and the price excellent. However when we ordered the goods we did say that we had a gravel drive therefore a delivery truck with a grab arm or a smaller truck ie the size of a skip truck would be able to drive onto the drive to make the delivery. On the day an articulated lorry arrived and the goods were left blocking our drive. Not at all satisfactory - it doesn't seem anyone read our notes. Not sure I would use Dandy's again because of this.

The driver turned up just before I'd got home and had used his initiative to put the bags in the best place.

Very easy order process and good variation of products and volume. Delivery options and prices are good and clear too.

Plenty of helpful advice on website. Ordering very easy. Soil delivered on time. Quality very good. Nothing at all of concern, would definitely use again. Recommend without reservation,.
