“Excellent !”

★★★★★

written by on 19/01/2019

Gap 360 are extremely professional, knowledgable and very approachable. Further to my first email to Gap 360 I was contacted by a Travel Advisor who was extremely helpful. I had an initial meeting and together we went through the various travel options/tours. The Flight Advisor then put together a draft itinerary - so immediately I had some idea of costs involved. Travel Advisor was extremely prompt in replying to my many questions (some may have been daft but he never made me feel they were!). Once we had decided on Tours and Flights, I was handed over to the Operations team who went ahead with booking and organising the tours. Flight 360 also confirmed all flights and reassured me on route/airlines. Both Operations and Flights, (like Travel Advisor) were extremely efficient and prompt with their email responses. Information on Insurance was offered and subsequently taken up once we confirmed our flights. I have organised this on behalf of my daughter, who is currently away, and GAP 360 were very patient with our time-lines and also in keeping all of us involved in logistics. Thank you Gap 360 and I would highly recommend!

“Epic USA Road Trip!”

★★★★★

written by Alaynak440 on 17/10/2018

I've just got back from the most amazing 2 weeks road-tripping round the US in a Campervan! The Campervan was super comfy and had everything you could need for life on the road. We saw so many incredible places and one particular highlight was seeing sunrise and sunset in the Grand Canyon. Gap 360 were really friendly and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

If you want to travel but have no one to go with. Doing a tour with gap 360 Is great! I wouldnt of had such a amazing experience if it wasn’t for them. You meet so many strangers who become your friends. Everyone on the tour is doing it for the same reason. To travel and have fun! I now have friends all over the country! Who I am meeting up with again in Australia this year. I will be booking a tour with gap 360 again this year. I can’t wait!

“Beautiful Bali ”

★★★★★

written by Kayleigh94 on 05/10/2017

I recently got back from the Bali intro 12 day trip and I had an amazing experience. My tour rep was amazing, always so bubbly and fun and her knowledge and experience was really helpful. The trip itself was so much fun and I got to experience some awesome excursions like snorkelling, surfing and my personal favourite climbing a volcano for sunrise. Bali is a beautiful place and Gili T was such fun. Met some amazing people and made the best memories. My only advice is that you take more money than you think you'll need as everyday you'll be buying food and bottles of water and it all adds up. But 100.% do the tour if you enjoy culture, meeting new people and the occasional night out.

“Wonderful Trip to Bali”

★★★★★

written by vic94 on 20/09/2017

I recently spent a month in Indonesia with the final part of my trip travelling around Bali on the 9-day 'Bali Intro Tour'. Our tour leader was brilliant and made sure everyone in the group had a fab holiday. The snorkelling and surfing lesson were both awesome, and were included in the cost of the trip. In terms of the contact with company before the trip I was really impressed - I was kept well informed and any questions or queries I had were always swiftly answered. As a solo traveller I felt comfortable and prepared before embarking on the trip, thanks to the support and information provided by gap 360.

“Epic American Adventure! ”

★★★★★

written by IonaB94 on 05/08/2017

Wow, wow, wow!! Couldn't speak more highly of the incredible Great American Road Trip -- 27 days, New York to LA, and plenty of stops in between! As someone who's always wanted to see as much of the US as possible, this trip was absolutely ideal, and really delivered the goods. As well as ticking off some of my 'bucket list' spots, like New Orleans and the Grand Canyon, the Road Trip introduced and capitalized on places I'd never even thought to go. I never fined falling in love with Washington DC; Monument Valley ended up being just as breathtaking as the Grand Canyon. Where the basics are concerned, this trip did them well: clean, comfortable hotels, amazingly friendly, helpful staff / tour guides, and some delicious included meals. When no meals were included, out tour guides were quick and enthusiastic to point out great local spots to go. In terms of the ground work, Gap360 were amazing. There's always someone on the end of the phone or an email, and you can always count on friendly, helpful advice. I'm 100% keen to go for a repeat performance with Gap360, and couldn't recommend them highly enough! Thanks so much, guys -- can't wait for my next trip!!

“Best Bali Experience”

★★★★★

written by Teacake123 on 04/05/2017

Went on a two week Bali tour with Gap 360. I had an awesome time, snorkelling, surfing, paddle-boarding and hiking. The group I went with were awesome, we had two tour guides that made the trip easy and fun and kept the group together. Booking the trip was easy, it felt like the staff at Gap 360 did everything for me. Whether it was flights, insurance or the trip itself it was no effort to arrange everything. I would highly recommend Bali and Gap 360 to anyone.

“An organised, friendly people-based travel company”

★★★★★

written by Conno11y on 30/04/2017

Gap 360 has helped me to get an amazing opportunity to go and work in an Australian Boarding School for a year. She has been very helpful and more importantly reassuring and approachable in the process. She has always been there to answer any phone calls and emails as well as questions I have about my placement and application and I can't thank her enough for what she has done! I really like the trips and experiences Gap 360 offer as well as the exclusive offers and help they give to you about flights and insurance and stuff like that. For the trip, the Australian Boarding Assistant trip I wish there was Personal Liability Insurance included in the Gap 360 insurances. I didn't need to know anything else before I purchased the trip as it was very detailed and I knew what I was signing up for. Thank you Gap 360!

“Thai and Bali Intro April 2017”

★★★★★

written by robynsward on 17/02/2017

I have never been on a group tour before, I always take the time to plan my own trips which tends to be very time consuming. If I attempted to organise a trip similar to Gap 360's I would not be able to because their itineraries are based around activities you just couldn't get access too at a decent price or even at all. Knowing that my trip has been spread over a number of months has made it so much more doable! They have always been so helpful and quick at responding to any of my queries. I will definitely book a trip with them in the future as I am so excited for every single day of my upcoming trip to Asia!

“Amazing time in Australia!”

★★★★★

written by RiverCraig235 on 08/02/2017

I spent the summer in Australia through Gap 360, and had an awesome time! The company were super helpful after I had booked on, making sure I knew exactly where to go for each of the trips. I did the Sydney Intro, Sun, Sea, Sail and Surf, the Cairns Adventure and the Great Barrier Reef Liveaboard trip, which I would recommend to any wanting to see all of the east coast over a few weeks. I got to do pretty all the best bits on the east coast, like meeting Kangeroos, exploring Sydney, surfing, diving with turtles and even hot air ballooning. I had an amazing time, thank you so much Gap 360!

“Sydney to Cairns Australia 2015”

★★★★★

written by Ava3 on 07/08/2015

2 words... Absolutely amazing. As a young 18 year old solo traveller, obviously I was a bit skeptical about going to the other side of the world alone. The staff at Gap360 first of all were the perfect calmers - they ensured you understood and felt completely comfortable before your trip. They were there to support you in any way they could, as to book extra accommodation for me, give me advice on money to take, what I'd need... they were great. The trip itself was amazing. Australia is beautiful! And the Sydney to Cairns adventure offered you the perfect timings and opportunities to live the Aussie lifestyle whilst travelling for just 20 days. The extra packages which were available to add on were always made to be understood and reasonable price too! Better than most agencies on the strips! Gap360 have amazing prices on their trips for the amount the tours include. I wouldn't have a bad word to say about my time in Australia or the preparation with the help of the staff via email - I'm so ready to book another trip! Thank you so much

“3 Australian packages”

★★★★★

written by on 01/06/2015

I booked on to 3 programmes through gap360 and apart from the mygap360 page crashing a couple times, the booking and organising was very effortless thanks to the staff at gap360. The helped me with important documents and essentials and also directed me to an Australian gap360 Facebook page where I could talk with other people on my programmes. The first was the Sydney to Cairna adventure package. Operated by wayoutback safaris (which may have gone bust now) this was a great short tour to do all the east coast necessities. Only bad thing I could say is that it was too short! Loved my group and tour guides and all the activities that we did. The second was an add-on to the S-C adventure package, where I was going to do a 4-day adventure package but unfortunately due to weather conditions it got cancelled. Gap360 staff were very helpful in the situation and refunded me shortly after it was cancelled. The third package was the wildlife volunteer experience. I did this programme for 4 weeks and although we had some troubles with the manager at the resort (which wasn't the one always used by gap360 as the usual one was being renovated) I had a great time working with all these strange animals. The staff at the habitat were brilliant and it was great working with such a wide range of nationalities. Would highly reccommend gap360 to anyone wanting to go to Australia.

“South Africa Wild Adventure”

★★★★★

written by TobyD on 29/05/2015

I went on the South Africa Wild Adventure trip in April 2015 and had a truly amazing time. Prior to the trip everyone from gap360 I spoke to was friendly and informative. A few minor details were different to what was described but nothing that would spoil the trip even remotely. It should be updated that the group no longer goes to Sabie and instead to Hazyview and as such the activities are different. An aspect that I didn't feel like I would enjoy was the horse riding, having never ridden a horse, but that was one of the highlights of my trip. We were allowed to ride the horses pretty much any day that we liked and the guys who took us on the rides were brilliant. Very good value for money and the best trip of my life. Highly recommended

“Volunteer and Safari South Africa with Gap360”

★★★★★

written by KimberleyS95 on 18/02/2015

Once I had decided on which country I wanted to go to, Gap360 gave me plenty of different trips I could do there. I decided on Volunteer and Safari. I emailed Gap360 straight away saying which trip I wanted and when I wanted to go. They replied quickly and replied to all of my questions. They helped me with every step of the trip, booking it, how I could pay for it and my flights. They kept me up to date on everything and were there before, during and after my trip if I needed any help. My trip was absolutely incredible, I never wanted to leave. I fell in love with South Africa and my little family of gap360 travellers that were also on my trip. The experience was amazing and unforgettable, from elephant rides to orphanages we did everything and loved every minute of it. Id highly recommend this trip and Gap360. They gave me all the information I needed, what to pack and what to expect.

Gap 360 have been excellent! The staff have given me great advice, helped me find the perfect trip for me and they have been excellent at giving me all the info I need to know before I go. They are easy to get hold of and answer questions straight away. They make it seem so easy to book a big trip. They give you an online account when you book which has all the info and documents you need to print. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't recommend them enough! They are awesome!

“European Trip - October 2014”

★★★★★

written by Dipak Double D on 07/12/2014

Gap360.com were brilliant prior, during and after booking and going on the trip with them. They offered first class customer service, the team I spoke to were brilliant. They ensured I had all the require documents and that everything was going well in preparation for the trip. The trip itself was excellent, by far the best experience I've ever had abroad and they made everything flow seamlessly. The schedule was great and the accommodation and good excellent. The people on the trip were awesome and my host Joel made the trip an absolute awesome experience. The countries visited were great and a lot of history about them was given from Joel who was accurate and knew everything inside out. I can't recommend this trip enough, there were 40 of us and I never knew a bond could be formed so quickly between so many like minded people. The excursions were great and value for money, especially paragliding over the Austrian Alps, there's an experience I'll never forget - especially as I was in the middle of a snow storm as it happened! The staff at the sites were very welcoming and made us feel part of their family ensuring our needs we met and that we were having a good time. I'm counting down the days to 2015 so I can book another trip with Gap360 - absolutely awesome!

No prices do not include flights but you will be referred to a flight company through the company. please look at the gap360 website for length of trip, what the price includes and trip options as these vary. They have an age guideline of 18-24 but this may vary with trip and it's a guide not a definite age. As someone that has gone through one of the programmes I felt safe at all times, they get you in contact with decent companies but as an individual you need to book a trip you feel comfortable doing , they are there as a contact but the companies aren't with you at all times.

Hi, I travelled to Africa with Gap360 and I had the same concerns. I can honestly say that everyone at Gap360 were really helpful. I called them so many times before I even set off asking them questions about my transfers from the airport right down to whether safes were kept in the hotel rooms. And they had an answer for everything. It was very reassuring and I had no problems at all while I was out there, but felt better knowing they were at the end of the phone or email anytime.

Hi there, I have been living in Thailand for over a year now. I came through Gap 360. I have lived both in rural Thailand and more urban areas/cities. I have met an incredible amount of teachers both male and female who have never had any issues with their safety. The only people who run into issues are those who consume too much alcohol and do stupid things. I understand your concerns but Thailand really is a welcoming and generous country. And I'm sure your daughter will be in touch very often!!

I was out there for a year and the short answer is that if you are ready to put in some work to get out and interview you will get a job. It seems scary at first - that you are going to a new country without a job - but the fact of the matter is that it just works. People are always coming and going so there are always good jobs available. I used the team in Sydney a lot for help and they were great - a real perk of travelling with Gap360. I honestly never met anyone who couldn't find work - the only ones I met who weren't working was because they couldn't be bothered to go to interviews! So my advice is relax, go for it, and enjoy yourself!!! You won't regret it.

Hi there, I'm a parent who has a daughter that wants to do her gap year in Sep 15. I'm proud that she wants to venture out there and experience life, but on the other hand, I'm worried about her safety and the fact that she's going out to Thailand on her own. She doesn't understand my concerns so if there are any parents out there who can reassure me then I'd appreciate it?

Hi there, Although i'm not a parent, I wanted to comment and say that I booked my trip away through gap360 and I can honestly say your daughter will be in safe hands. It was my first trip away by myself and I was pretty nervous! But gap360 are incredibly professional, friendly and reassuring, they even called me the day before I was due to fly out to make sure I had packed everything and if I had any last minute questions. I'm not sure which trip in Thailand your daughter is planning on doing, but as Thailand is so popular I'm sure she will be travelling with like-minded young people who will have booked the same trip, so she won't be travelling alone.. if that helps your safety concerns!

When I went to Thailand with Gap360,I did the ThaiAdventure, my parents had the same concerns as yourself, but understood that doing something independently was going to be a great experience. Your daughter will always be with a guide who make sure that everyone is accounted for during the day and at night, every person is given the guides number so you could get this off her for extra security, there is plenty of internet cafes which a cheap so if she can't phone you there will a way to get in touch with you. It was the best experience of my life, i'm sure it will be for your daughter, but yes you will be worried the entire time she is out there.

Hi Sophie, I did the package last year and you get lots with it - the best being the job support that enabled me to always be in work and actually saved some money whilst I was there... The week in Sydney was well worth the money as you meet loads of people and make some great friends... I really overspent then but am happy to be earning good $ now... They do pick you up from the airport and the whole set up is really good and reassuring, bit like being part of a big family :) Only downside is you do have to pay for your flights out there but it's money really well spent! See you down under ;)
