I couldn't be more pleased with my volunteer trip abroad. Arm in Arm Volunteers placed me with the ideal in country coordinator, who was extremely helpful. AIAV made sure that I was well prepared before departing, thoroughly answered all of my questions, and made sure to check up half way through my assignment. I volunteered at Manavsewa Ashram (Human Service Home) in Hetauda, in the region of Makwanpur, Nepal. The experience was life changing. I would describe my time with Arm-in-Arm Volunteers, through whom I was linked with Becky's Home in Senya Beraku, Central Region, Ghana, as an extremely positive. My program lasted 11 days and I enjoyed every minute of it. Arm-in-Arm provided me with all the support and guidance that I needed for a successful trip.
