A warning to future customers. when visiting the store to view beds, furniture and you are not decided on purchasing an item right away. Please refrain from accepting their offer to print off the details of the item you are looking at but not ready to buy. A printed quote constitute a contract and just browsing in their store denotes you agree and accept their terms and conditions even though you do not know what these are and you are not informed. These quotes demand your name and all personal details even though you are just currently browsing.
Should you recontact the store, even by phone, to pay for a deposit using that nicely printed off quote you were talked into doing you will dig yourself deeper into a hole should you, in all your stress of looking for goods, forget to enquire of their cancellation policy; no one brings such trivial matters to light. Any attempts to cancel after a date you knew nothing about will leave you very financially short of a hefty deposit. I received no information of the cancellation information, emaiks sent only had adverts etc but info on their cancellation policy.
Very poor service.
The reasons why I wanted to cancel was I recalled a previous bed purchased from bensons, which is nit yet 2 years old, looks saggy and worn. When I recalled it was from that same company I thought best to cancel but at a loss of 100.00 deposit but still better than paying much more for another possible saggy bed, worn material looking bed.
