“Appalling customer service ”

Bought the large Stamford Sofa 2 weeks ago and it was delivered very quickly when it arrived it was really hard to sit on, so we took the cushion off the sofa and went back to next at Meadowhall the same day to compare the cushion we sat on in next to one that’s been delivered. To our dismay we where amazed to see we had been sent completely different cushions to sit on to the ones in store, even the lady that sold us it said the same. We complained and Next sent a engineer out who said these where different but the sofa wasn’t faulty, so he said he would get new ones ordered.
We have today 5-2-2019 received a email from Next to say as the sofa wasn’t faulty no further action would be taken, furious doesn’t come close as these where not the cushions we sat in at the store.
We are logging a complaint with next and also Trading Standards had this sofa been in the store and we had sat on it we would never have bought it at all !

I also have the Stamford large sofa and snuggle chairs and like you they were hard and different to one we sat on in our local store , I feel like you and would not of bought this if this is what I’ve sat on the more we sit on this sofa and chairs the lumpier the cushions get .....really disappointed

They are coming to collect mine on Sat and give us our money back. I would never have another sofa from Next again. We have just bought one more or less the same from M&S and hoping this one is perfect
