Bolero Folding Wooden Suitcase Stand

This is available online for a range of prices from many different outlets but was designed by someone who has never tried to use it and has no basic understanding of physics! I ordered this for my B&B and at £40 it seemed steep but looked good with a nice finish to the wood. As space is limited the plan was to stand it behind the door into the cabin.

When it arrived it seemed OK and was a nice sturdy little item with a pleasing shape.

However there is nothing to keep it folded so lean it against a wall and it takes a big step forward like a spooky wooden robot and opens itself. So guests go out, rack unfolds itself, wedges against the chest of drawers next to it and nobody can get in the door! it needs some kind of hinge or stay similar to a director's chair to keep it securely folded, otherwise it is a permanent piece of furniture rather than one for occasional use.

Needless to say my second attempt at a luggage rack was returned for a refund!
