I rarely wear foundation as I dislike the sticky feeling of something on my face but as I have some uneven colouring, I wanted to try something recommended to me by a friend, L'Oreal's Infallible Foundation. I have always gone for foundations with a higher price tag such as Chanel Vitalumiere (absolutely superb) and Guerlain. Now I know why!!!!!
I have normal to dry skin and it's in good condition although at 48, I've got some deep lines on my forehead. This foundation of L'Oreal's is much too heavy, too powdery and immediately fell into the lines and overall gave me a very unnatural look even though I used a TINY amount.
It may work on a much younger woman, say late teens and early 20's whose skin has few if any lines and whose skin is normal to oily, as this foundation seems to have a lot of powder in it.......it has a very heavy matt finish and very unnatural looking on me. At just over £12 it's not a huge amount of money compared with my usual Chanel Vitalumiere (over £50) but I did expect better from a company like L'Oreal. Complete waste of money. :(
