I found out last year that I unfortunately had 2 CCJ’s in my name from unpaid parking fines. 1 of these CCJ’s had actually been on my file for almost 2 years, having only discovered them when trying to purchase a new car, this was a massive shock to the system.
Like many others, the paperwork for this had been sent to my old address, even though I made sure I updated all my information as soon as I moved.
Finding out that a CCJ stays on your credit file for 6 years was very disheartening, especially at 23 years old when you’re trying to set your life up! From the research I had done, I started to feel hopeless when I realised how difficult it is to remove them.
I then came a cross Lender & Court Services, after reading many reviews that were similar to my case, I contacted them straight away to find out more. They explained everything so clearly and would not advise to go ahead with the application if they didn’t think you had a good chance of getting them removed.
They got to work straight away on my cases, a couple months later we successfully had one removed, which was amazing news!
Unfortunately, in my case, the court made a few errors with the second CCJ. But with all the hard work and determination from these guys, I can now finally say that I am 100% CCJ free!!
I would especially like to thank the person I dealt with, as my cases were probably a lot more challenging than most. She handled both of my cases from the start, and did not give up until we got the outcome we aimed for.
It really is a no brainer, if you’re thinking of using this company. It really is a small price to pay for the sake of setting up your future.
