After a 6 month tenancy and considerable damages to the property, getting Lucas Grant to manage their own contractors in the repair and remediation work was a nightmare!

As with other ratings - communications were worse than poor. The contractors work was woeful, took 3 months to complete and was substandard.

Lucas Grant himself was inconsiderate, unhelpful and obstinate and obstructive

The only positive I can say was that Rental Payments were on time, but on balance not something which outweighs all other considerations

All in all this was not an agency I would commend, recommend or ever deal with again. I would advise Landlords to steer well clear.

This us a complete disaster! I didnt get my 300 application fee back, tried to call them 4 days in a row and every single time Ive been told that no one is in the office and I will be called back but it never happened! ONE BIG LIE!

We had Lucas Grant Lettings fully manage our property for 11 months. They were awful at answering phone calls, we kept getting passed to their voicemail service. If we left a voicemail we were lucky if they ever responded to it. We had to chase them several times about each issue we needed assistance with just to get it sorted. It was like we were managing them! Not what you want when you are paying them!

They claim to have conducted property inspections at 6 weeks and 6 months, giving our tenant notice via letter 2 weeks in advance. Our tenant told us he never received and letters from them and they never came round to inspect it. I have no reason to doubt him. Lucas Grant claims they did attend, but having explained to them his process' have failed as the tenant knew or knows nothing about the visits, they quite literally couldn't care less and didn't want to address my issues. Surely they need to address these issues?!!

They also found what they called 'admin errors' after 10 months and informed us they have undercharged and would need to back date fee's of £200!! Shocking. Such a poor company.

I will never use Lucas Grant Lettings again, and I advise you all to use another lettings agent in Nottingham or Leicester. The customer interactions I have had with Lucas Grant Lettings have left me frustrated, enraged, shocked and disappointed.
