Disgraceful Service...go To Anyone Else!

I said I did not want smokers or pets. After two years of chasing rent that was consistently late I finally discovered (myself) the tenants had moved out. The extensive filth and rubbish and damage was heart breaking. The windows were all stained orange with nicotine and the kitchen ceilng was sagging and needed to be replaced from water damage. A chunk of the kitchen service had been cut out and the laminate floor had two holes in it that looked as though it had been damaged by a dog. The garden contained, amoung other things a matress, a filthy barbecue and bags and bags of rotting rubbish spilling out over the garden and side alley. The garden was literally covered in old and fresh dog excrement. The walls were black with condensation. One letting agent, when shown the photographs, told me 'that is the worst I have ever seen'. When I dared to write a letter of complaint I was told that I was an 'annoying, irritating, eccentric bully' with 'insecurities'. Very professional...as well as mostly untrue. I can not believe this bunch are still in business. I foolishly agreed not to take a guarantor as I was assured they were 'lovely people just trying their best'...they weren't they were lazy and filthy people who apparently lit a bonfire out the street and let their young children play outside until 11pm but what profesdional agent would not insist on a guarantor. Absolutely appaling beyond belief, worst decision I ever made to use Just4let.

Or if anyone would like to see the emails sent from this company who paid me ONE THOUSAND POUNDS as compensation and the personal slurs they sent (and by their response) continue to send then please leave a request on this site and I will provide it. Just4let are correct there is no legal requirement for a guarantor but there is a duty of care that letting agents owe to the landladys/landlords. And when a tenant falls into arrears the first month and the letting company is told to serve an eviction notice and do nothing then YES I eventually felt I had to guide them and advise the correct course of action. Unfortuantely the way this company dealt with my property I was forced to get involved even though I paid them for their 'professional' services. There is extensive photographic evidence that is available to anyone who wishes to know who is in the wrong here. I am sorry Just4let are bitter losers and made such amateur errors like telling me the local authority had sent the rent to the tenant when it was actually sent to me. I am sorry they did not evict the tenant's father who had no right to be in the property or the dog or gerbil and I am sorryJust4let allowed the property to be so abused and neglected that a local agent said they had 'never seen anything as bad as this' Yes I get involved because this company fell down badly on the job. My extensive letter of complaint was not answered but instead Just4let offered this 'dangerous woman' a thousand pounds after I threatened to take them to court. Would I offer such a sum if I had done nothing wrong? Certainly not? Sorry Just4let but the tangible evidence shows who knows what they were doing and who clearly didn't. Sorry you feel so bitter that yet again you have to resort to such comments. 'thousands of happy tenants' you said you had rented out 500 properties - how many people are living in these houses then for you to have 'thousands of happy tenants'? In regards to me being a 'wannabe' I had to ask for rent from Just4let that they appear to have 'forgotten' to pass on to me and I received the tenant's full bond (that appears not to have been put into a goverment procted scheme within the legal time limit' so this 'wannabe' seems to have done OK. PS If anyone IS looking for a 2 bed in Brackla don't ask for mine it's been rented out for far more than Just4let were getting. Fiona - very professional giving out personal details of your clients but I LOVE the name ViennaMarie xx Thanks again for the money xx Also worthy of note is when Just4let contacted this company saying they thought mine was 'not a genuine review' this company saw the evidence and decided not to delete my comments. Nothing worse than a sore loser Just4let xx

Be Aware! Stay Clear

I felt I had to write a review to warn other potential tenants of this conning company.

I moved into a property that was prone to mold, no working shower, broken gas meter, broken oven and next to the worst neighbours ever.

I have since left and they are charging me to fix their mistakes of things that were broke before I even moved in.

They will claim all sorts, looking at other reviews and speaking to previous tenants Im gutted I didnt read them before.

The manager is rude, unprofessional and will send you abusive emails thinking he is the clever man.

If you're happy to lose over £600.00 then go ahead, but apply at your own risk.

Lovely, Thanku Fiona. And thank you for our wedding card.

Charged for replacing the bedroom carpet that had a burn mark on it. .

You are right, he does think he's the 'clever man'. I was on the receiving end having given them my property to rent out. I had it back with rent arrears and a garden full of nappies and dog excrement. I would suggest you go to Trading Standards if you have lost money. It has taken me two and a half months to sort my property out due to the extensive filth and damage. Appaling agents, very unproffesional with, as you say a 'rude' manager but I think you are actually referring to the owner.
