I've Just Been Listening To The Rolling Stones, An
I've just been listening to The Rolling Stones, and I loved it, like always. Then I looked at my CD collection and thought, "now let's put on something really serious, extraordinary and fabulous to sort out exactly who is the greatest Rock band ever", so naturally I put on Quadrophenia. This is The Who at the height of their powers as a band. For me, Roger Daltrey is the greatest rock singer ever! The track "Love Reign 'oer me" is just amazing. And I would class this album as "The Classic Rock Album" that you just have to listen to, as Quadrophenia cannot be listened to as background music. You need to sit down and just listen!! Go and buy it now, and play it as loud as you can!
The powerful rock music on this CD makes Quadrophenia a major progressive rock album, and it is definitely worth buying, to listen to Daltrey's great singing performance.
