Kings of Leon, Aha Shake Heartbreak

Kings of Leon, Aha Shake Heartbreak is a brilliant follow-up to their amazing debut album. While they stand firmly rooted to their love of drink, chicks and loud rock music, this album is far more diverse than the first, showing their ability to write more than just sleazy southern rock. "The Bucket" actually made me think of the Strokes, and "Milk" showcases a softer side to them both lyrically and musically. They've taken their special brand of southern guitar garage rock even further and they have given us more of what made the first album so special, but they've also developed their sound and this album truly brings them into the rock n roll big leagues.
