Soul On Ice Is Not Your Avarage Political Influenc
Soul On Ice is not your avarage political influenced CD, beyond that rather more educational on the issues that a young angry black man in South Africa and in the world in general would like to hear. The art of lyricsm and the rich vocab is no stranger to Rass- to me my favourite song is the nature of the threat should on Ice. That particular track kinda rips the spot open on factual stuff even though I'm still reasearching sum of the topics that he touches upon. The beat is thunping of bass I suppose that is more characteristic of hip hop but I never seem to get tired of it, especiually when its not monotonous like all these wack wannabes. I respect this man because of prowess the art of poetry and his intelligence, that is defined when looking at the content of what he talks abt- I could feel that he had been to unviversity- cos most of the stuff that he touches upon have been general stuff that is tought at undergrade years at Varsity. Nonetheless he doesn't make a general fan feel like they're stupid ...man hes too much and much love to him straight out of a third world gutter!!!- peace
