Limp Bizkit, Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Fl

Limp Bizkit, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water - Ok it seems a bit silly now but on-release this was the must-have album for teenage boys everywhere. Listening to it again, today, is a guilty pleasure. If you can listen to songs like 'Hotdog' and 'Getcha Groove On' without a little smile on your face then you probably shouldn't own this album. Without writing off 'Chocolate Starfish...' as a complete joke, there are a few songs on the album that have stood the test of time (and irony) such as 'Take a Look Around' and, at least, the first minute and a half of 'Hold On'.

If you're looking for a CD with some depth, this probably isn't it. If, however, like me you're a nostalgic one this might be a nice reminder of why Linkin Park should lose the 'rap' gimmick in their 'rap-metal' band. What is 'Nu-Metal' anyway?
