British War DVD Collection

This DVD collection contains four great British war films. The four films included are 'Ice Cold in Alex', 'The Dam Busters', 'The Cruel Sea' and 'The Colditz Story.' I love all of these films with the dam busters being my favourite - nothing like a good bit of British Patriotism!

The image quality varies with each film, sometimes being crisp and sharp at other times hit and miss. All films are presented in their original picture aspect and the sound is quite crisp for films nearly 50 years old. The only extra you get on the disk is a copy of the original theatrical trailer for each film, this to me is a little disappointing - I always find commentary's interesting and a few documentary's may have helped the collection.

Overall this is a good selection of British Cinema and I would recommend to any one who is a fan of war films.
