White Chicks (12A)

White Chicks is a hilarious movie, that can be watched repeatedly, so funny. The Wayne brothers are great and great comedians which comes through. Must have in a dvd collection

White Chicks (12A) - Last night I went to the video shop with my girlfriend, she wanted something funny and girly, I wanted something with a bit of action. We compromised on White Chicks which is somewhere in between Bad Boys and Legally Blond. Neither of us held up much hope, the trailers hadn't looked that appealing and I didn't know anyone that had seen it at the cinema. It appears everyone has been missing a treat.

The Wayan brothers (Of Scary Movie Fame) play 2 FBI agents struggling to please their boss, when they inadvertently injure their bait in a kidnapping case they are forced to become them. And so the 2 black cops have to become pretty, rich, white girls and go partying for a week, to foil the kidnapping, except no-one but them knows they are doing it.

If you ignore the fact that they clearly could never pass as the women they are imitating, this is part of the joke, it is a really funny film. The humour is a bit slapstick and sometimes a touch juvenile but it is sharp and reasonably original. This is a good action comedy for those that want a little bit of light-hearted entertainment.
