Althought Even 10years Have Passed Since It Was Released, I Didn't Think Of When It Was Made While W
Good points
At the end, she gets true love from Mark, after struggling to achieve something such as love and work. So, it is my first favourite scene.
And the second scene i like in this movie is that she comes out from Daniel after getting to know he has an affair with an ameraican girl and he gets engaged with her.
Bad Points
She relys too much on men, mark and Daniel.
General comments

Bridget Jones's Diary - Although I Loved The First
Bridget Jones's Diary - Although I loved the first movie, I really don't think the second does justice to the second book. There were simply too many scenes left out, most importantly my favorite scenes. How can you leave out Rebecca tossing herself off a bridge and making a total fool of herself in front of Mark, the man she is trying to win over, not Bridget for *hrist sake. Does anyone believe Rebecca is a good lesbian character--- no...
Anyway, I've read rumours of a third movie, which I think shouldn't be too hard to write since so much was missing from the second book.
And as much as I truly adore Colin Firth, I beg of him to put on a few more pounds for a third Bridget movie, bulk up a bit son, you're a gorgeous man, why so scrawny?

Bridget Jones Is Your Average Middle-aged Singleto
Bridget Jones is your average middle-aged singleton looking for the perfect man. At the moment she has two men in her life :
a. Daniel Cleaver (Hugh Grant). He's gorgous, sexy and clever. Her 'dream man'. Everything shes looking for.
b. Mark Darcy (Colin Firth). The man her mother desperatly trys to set her up with at New Year. Top lawyer, very boring and wears sweaters designed for old men.
Then, finally, she gets a date with Daniel. Everything goes great and they even go on a minibreak. She thinks it is true love. Then Daniel dumps her for an naked American stick insect whom he then gets engaged to!
So Bridget decides to turn her life around and gets a job in TV.
Then very unexpectedly, at a dinner party with close friends, she bumps into boring Mark again.
As she is leaving, Mark tells her that he likes her very much.....just as she is.This comes as a big shock because Bridget hates Mark.
Slowly, Bridget starts to develop feelings for Mark.
Mark unexpectedly visits Bridget on the evening of her birthday and helps her with the meal she is planning for her friends. Then Mark stays for the meal. It appears as though, very predictably, Mark and Bridget will kiss and live happily ever after. But, during the meal, Daniel arrives. Then Daniel says that he was really stupid, has left his fiancee and wants Bridget to forgive him. Before Bridget can answer, Mark announces that he is leaving. Bridget trys to persuade him not to but then Mark and Daniel get into a fight outside, resulting in them both going through a glass window!
Who will Bridget end up with?
This is a real 'feel good' movie which you can watch time and time again. Brilliant acting, superb directing, amusing and entertaining story line.......what more could you want.
What a great reminder of just how great this film is - I must rewatch with a bottle of wine asap!
Very helpful review. I will definatly watch this film now.

Bridget Jones's Diary Is A Film That Your Girlfrie
Bridget Jones's Diary is a film that your girlfriend / wife can relate to! Bridget Jones is a single woman looking for mister right and failing badly.
She is wooed by Daniel (Hugh Grant) who turns out to be a cheat. Colin Firth plays Mr Mark Darcy who is slow to move but eventually gets her.
Very watchable
I found this to be a very funny film and would recommend this film to anyone (particularly women who will relate to the storyline). A lot of the one-liners are very witty and relevant to thirty-something year old single females. GREAT!! DON'T MISS IT!!
