Le Mans

Le Mans is one of my favourite Steve McQueen action films as it manages to capture not only the atmosphere but also the emotion of motor racing. Although there are no special features on the DVD if you like motor racing you won't be disappointed. There is only one way to watch this film, with the volume level at max. Listening to those Porsche engines soar threw the French countryside just sends a shiver down my spine. This makes up for the fact the acting isn't first rate. Motor racing fans will certainly appreciate this film more than the average viewer but all action film lovers should also give it a try. I especially enjoyed the filmed driving sequences.
