Littlejohns, St Andrews

The food is good the atmosphere is family orientated but the waitress we got must have been having an off day how we wished she had had a day off. She spoke to us as if we were 5years old giving us instructions, not our actual age over 60 years She also was not at all helpful with her explanations of her menu The portions were far too big, but good tasting.

Littlejohns is a large American restaurant in the heart of St Andrews. It has a wide range of cuisine from Burgers, pasta, grills, mexican, salads, and seafood. However it is a very family orientated restaurant and if the sight of kids running about puts you off then don't go.

We opted for the combo starter, (a little of everything), generally good but a few of the chicken legs were cold in the middle.

The main meals came soon after and were of an average standard, the chicken breast was a little dry but the "mexican sauce" was really nice.

The Chimmichanga (deep fried stuffed tortilla) was a little disappointing.

Fries and salad accompaniment were nothing special.
