My Thoughts...when I First Fired Up This Game And

My thoughts...When i first fired up this game and watched the into, i was in geek heaven. When i started the game i was amazed! Its so much fun! Ok lets not get ahead of myself, lets first check out the menu and upgrading system (queue the boring section):The menu structure is nice and bright and is the opposite of complicated, loading times can be a little lengthy even once installed to the HDD, if you can bare with this it shouldn't be too much of an issue. There is a skill tree for upgrading your force abilities which can give a real sense of achievement, going from a force static goosebumps making electric frizzle to a full on thunderstorm sprouting from your fingertips can really make you feel warm and fuzzy. You can also improve your passive abilities also, damage caused and taken, force recharge time etc... And finally you can also "buy" combos, now these can look really cool when executed correctly and the beauty of this game is that they don't make the moves extremely difficult to pull (a la Tekken ^_^) of so its easy to feel like a lightsaber wielding Sith lord from hell... or a Force hugging Jedi master from Alderon, whatever reprograms your R3 unit i guess! The level designs are lush and even though it isn't free roaming (strictly speaking), you do get a feeling that you are not being restricted too much by the environment. There are plenty of bad aiming clones to take out with whatever you feel like using, whether it be slicin'n'dicing with your lightsaber, pushing him of off a ledge with "the force", or simply lobbing an R2 unit at his face... the choices are varied. Although in the end you will probably opt for simply slicing em up and frying them. Its the most fun and its quick. There can be a few irritating aspects of the game so SPOILER ALERT!!! Read on and i shall expose the 2 i have found...On level 2 Raxus Prime, just after you defeat the Junk Titan, you will come to a section where you have to force bend a crescent shaped piece of metal on the side wall to make a jump... Now i was playing this part for 30 minutes before resorting to using a walkthrough guide to see if i was just being an idiot... Yes you are doing the right thing and no you are not being an idiot, pull the the metal down but not all the way down, leave it up slightly otherwise you will keep missing the jump and dieing, if possible do a double jump followed by a dash (LB i think...) when you are at the apex of the double jump... this should get you across, then save!! Just in case you go and get yourself killed and have to do it all over again. This is an annoying part, it shouldn't have been that difficult and if they wanted to do that they should have thrown it in at a later level, not level 2!The second and worst part is also the most cool part. Its also on Imperial Raxus Prime but this is on the 2nd from last level. Its the really cool bit where you have to Force pull a star destroyer to the ground!! Now this is the cycle, you will destroy some tie fighters and then pull the ship, low and behold another wave of tie's will approach, the cycle continues... This is where it gets annoying, now i don't know about you but trying to Force throw a piece of junk into a tie fighter mid air whilst moving is a lengthy, difficult, soul destroying and irritating business, if you were to do this the star destroyer will return to its normal position as you cannot force pull it until you have destroyed the fighters and the fight will essential last FOREVER. So instead of throwing the junk simply stand behind a pillar and whenever a fighter flies by jump up and use force lighting on them, it will destroy them much quicker and you will be able to edge the star destroyer down bit by bit in between fighter waves and eventually after a while you will pull that sucker down!SPOILER ALERT HAS SUBSIDED!Sorry for my mini review/walkthrough but Star Wars: The Force Unleashed really is a great game and i don't want a few bad eggs ruin the omelet if you catch my drift. All in all though its a brilliant game worth playing through at least one, it goes well in context with the movies as you will see when playing, and you will end the game thinking "ahhh really! thats how .... was formed!" I'm not going to give that away! Play it and see!

One Of The Best Star Wars Games Ever. Definately W

One of the best star wars games ever. Definately way better then KOTOR. The only drawback is that the plotline isnt a deep as I would have liked, an somtiemes there are odd holes in it that dont make sense. I would have liked it more if we could have gotten to know the apprentice better and seen his character evolve more.

This Is An All Round Fun Game. A Great One If You

This is an all round fun game. A great one if you are into the starwars franchise. You get to play as darth vaders new apprentice. This game is set between the 3rd and 4th films.

I think because of the lack of multiplayer I will give it an 8. Because it would have been fun to take your lightsabre online, well recommend Star Wars The Force Unleashed.
