Wwe Smackown Is A Great Game, I Would Recommend To

WWE Smackown is a great game, I would recommend to stick to the General Manager Mode, its got great gameplay and in my opinion the most fun and easy to use. Infact the only negative point I could make about this game is simply the unlocking of the ECW arena for WWE on the PS2 is just too hard to do. Apart from that I would recommend WWE Smackdown! Vs. Raw 2006 to anyone.

Well The Game Is Good, I Like The Story Because Ev

Well the game is good, I like the story because everytime you play it if you lose a match you get an unexpected twist. For example lose the royal rumble and win the battle royal and you get a new gm instead of the king. You get stone cold steve austin. and then later you get asked to go to ECW by RVD but you have to win and lose certain matches to get this opportunity.

Wwe Smackdown! Vs. Raw 2006 Proves That Year Upon

WWE Smackdown! Vs. Raw 2006 proves that year upon year THQ pulls out another WWE title, each one supposedly surpassing the previous year and in general this is the case. Real wrestling fans often argue that they still haven't gone anywhere near in producing a 'REAL WWE' match, but like all sports related games realism often has to play second fiddle to gameplay.

However with the release of Smackdown vs Raw 2006, it seems for once a lot of effort has been made at creating something more than a yearly update. There are new features a plenty, more matches to choose from including ' buried alive match'. A General manager mode, new match features such a momentum which gives a new twist to matches. Just in general you feel as though you have more control not over the character alone, but in the way you want to wrestle.

In particular this applies to the CAW (create a wrestler) mode. With unparalleled control of the wrestler that can be created. This allows you to create an endless array of superstars from WWE past and present who haven't been included in the game. There are many classic wrestlers to choose from these include three versions of Hulk Hogan, Brett Hart and The Rock. All the current roster are also available as well as many divas. the development in the game means that you must target different parts of the body to attack and injure. Unlike some previous versions, a larger opponent can do much more damage to a weaker opponent this gives a more realistic divisions within the game, i.e heavyweight, cruser weight etc.

The game does take a while to get use to, even if you own the previous collection, which I personally think is a good thing as you drop the systematic approach of previous flawed AI and you genuinely feel as though you have a new game. The gameplay as ever is addictive, the challenge mode is particularly good and means you have plenty of the things to achieve (i.e like competing in classic matches).

Now onto the bad points and there are only a few. But the few are notable, in particular is season mode. Now the game should center around season mode which should take the longest to complete in general. But the season mode is limited to a single season, and regardless of the superstar you choose you are limited to a few story lines. In a word you are likely to get bored of this mode after completing it with 1 or 2 times.

The difficulty level of the matches is also a bit off, now different people will have different ability and maybe not everyone will be able to master the legend mode, that you can naturally expect. But the manner in which fight seems to completely change in this mode. You are up against endless blocks and submission moves. I don't think it was well thought through particularly when you compare it to the beginner mode where your opponent resembles a peace loving zombie. But if the stick to the middle two difficulty modes I'm sure you find it enjoying enough.

In summary, this is still in my opinion the best wrestling game available and for WWE fans its a must, for those who haven't ventured these waters before might find it awkward to begin with. But the beauty of the game is that it tries to cater for everyone ones needs and overall it meets these needs pretty well.

There Are Some New Wrestlers, New Moves, New Creat

There are some new wrestlers, new moves, new creation modes and lots of diva action. However, the season mode is repetitive and boring. They need to get some wrestlers that are more popular, like Matt Hardy, instead of wrestlers like Steven Richards and The Hurricane.

WWE Smackdown! Vs. Raw 2006 is a great PS2 game, and I would highly recommend it. There are some minor setbacks, but the gameplay makes up for it. I can't wait for Smackdown! vs Raw 2007 to be released!

I Think That Wwe Smackdown! Vs Raw 2006 Is Much Be

I think that WWE Smackdown! vs Raw 2006 is much better than the last one. There are more options and a lot more to do. There is a new thing called General Manager Mode where you get to choose the matches and get the best ratings! The graphics are amazing and the wrestling is more realistic than ever! Also there are new wrestlers like Carlito, Chris Masters, and legends like British Bulldog and JunkYard Dog.

I Have Just Played Wwe Smackdown For The Playstati

I have just played WWE Smackdown for the PlayStation 2 Vs. Raw 2006, and it's awesome! I can also reveal the list of WWE Legends in Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006, and I can tell you now you should be very excited!

First off, this game is excellent! It's pretty similar to the previous edition in terms of gameplay, but there a few new features in terms of strategy. There is more timing involved as to when you go for the kill, as the superstars momentum tends to come and go during the match. I also love that there are now 3 levels of blood, so you can really leave your opponent with a crimson mask once you've busted the S.O.B wide open!

There haven't been many changes to the match types - the good ones like Hell In a Cell, Elimination Chamber, TLC and the Steel Cage are all still there. There is the added bonus of the Buried Alive contest, which is also good fun.

Anyway onto the Legends roster - all the big names are here, and the legends are better than last year, but sadly there is no Legion Of Doom. Here's the list:

Hulk Hogan (also available as 80's Hogan and Hollywood Hogan)

Bret Hart

British Bulldog

Stone Cold Steve Austin - Oh Yeah!!!

Mankind

The Rock

Jake The Snake

Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart

Junkyard Dog

The Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase

Andre The Giant

Overall I was happy with this, but felt a bit angry as we were promised 13 legends, yet we get Hogan 3 times, so in reality it's only 11. Also, why bother with Junkyard Dog and The Mouth Of The South?? I have no idea!!

Still, the others are cool, but I would have loved to have seen Owen Hart, The Anvil, Ultimate Warrior, the NWO, Macho Man, and a few others in there.

Rant over and back to the game - it rocks and you must buy it, trust me you never get tired of dishing out the Stunners!!!

Stone Cold I read your review and the game sounds fantastic. I have the first one and I beat it with Batiesta 5 times, and now it is starting to get boring. I can't wait to get WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw.

P.S YOU ROCK!!!
