Forbidden Siren

Forbidden Siren is the best horror game I can remember playing - almost everything about it is superb. The graphics are not too flashy and give the game a perfect claustrophobic atmosphere, as does each character's ability to "sightjack" - see the level from an enemy (or friend)'s eyes. The non-linear storyline really immerses the player and the game feels as though it could go on and on. Just watch out for the appalling British voiceovers - they are hilariously stilted and badly acted.

Aside from that though, this is a great game and one that should not lose out to more high-profile ones that are coming out.

I dont understand whats the big hipe about forbidden siren, most reviews say that it is the scariest horror-survival game to date, but it ain't that scary, actually it isn't scary at all.

I mean zombies and all don't scary me, same goes for silent hill and resident evil.

Games that are dark and include ghosts & shades such as fatal frame 1 & 2 are scary but these type of games ... nope.

I mean what is more scary? "The day of the living dead" or "the 6th sense"

I almost felt like I was playing medal of honor or wolfenstein but this time not shooting soldiers but farm people that turned into zombies.

You play with difrent characters throughout the game that is a good thing about the game I guess but another then that its the same stuff all over.

Fatal frame 2 realy kinda impressed me when we talk about the scare factor in a game, it's kind of a disappointment I guess for people that liked the game and were really looking forward to playing Forbidden siren also.

As the official reviews state; Forbidden siren has a lot of 80's horror in it. ... well I guess we all know how people think about 80's B - horror movies.

I really wish someone came up with something new in the horror-survival genre

Ohhhh Forbidden Sirens on the PS2 is one spooky game I played it in Japan and it freaked me out. The story is about one of the 12 characters you pick going through this village that has been destroyed by evil, Killing these zombie type things. This is a lot more scary than resident evil. Its graphics are very good you can see blood on their faces and eyeball sockets and .... well you get the idea. It practicly lasts forever you can play through the game 12 times with all the different characters and the storyline is different for ever character. If you want to freak yourself out or like zombie games this is the one for you.
