Fable Is My 2nd Favorite Rpg, And I Love It! You C
Fable is my 2nd favorite RPG, and I love it! You can do a lot of Real Life actions in this game; from getting married, to ageing and more. You can also be a thief and rob shops at night by lock picking the doors, stealthily moving through the stores and then looting the place. The only thing I didn't like about the game is that the main quest was way too short. I beat the game in less than about 3 or 4 days, but other than, that this game is really fun!

Fable Is An Okay Game. But It Does Not Live Up To
Fable is an okay game. But it does not live up to the expectations at all. The good/evil paths were supposed to be so different that it would change your whole game experience. It doesn't really do that. Fable is a good RPG, but certainly not the game that Peter Molinieux promised us. If you, however, do want to play Fable, I recommend you buy Fable: Lost Chapter, or wait for Fable 2 on XBOX 360

Fable Is A Free Roam Rpg Game That Does Not Involv
Fable is a free roam RPG game that does not involve the normal turn-based fighting. Instead you use your weapons in the first-person style. The game is beat by completing quests that involve Killing trolls, rescuing traders, Defeating Bandit Kings, fighting in the arena (Gladiator style) and a whole lot more. The graphics are very smooth, and the scenery is spectacular. The controls fit the game very well, and (unlike some games) don't take long to get used to. If you don't like the controls you can always change them under the menu. The Character development is great; every enemy you kill or challenge you pass, you receive XP (experience points), and when you you return to the guild you can use them to improve your character. The three main categories are: Strength, Skill and Will (Magic Powers). Each category has at least half a dozen sub-categories, which in turn have more categories. In other words there are many, many ways to improve and strengthen you character. You can travel between many cities and towns. You can buy, sell and trade hundreds of items and weapons. Houses may also be bought, rented out, lived in and improved. You can even buy and sell shops. You can marry women who will live in your houses, and if you treat them right they will give you gifts. There are many mini-games that you can win money and items from. I could go on and tell you much more, but the rest is for you to find out.
Before I end, let me tell you that you can't go wrong buying this game, it's one of my favorite games, and I promise you will have a lot of fun playing it.

Let Me Just Start Out By Saying That I Read Alot O
Let me just start out by saying that I read alot of reviews on Fable before I bought it, and most all the reviews were very positive about it. Then there were a few people that said that Lion Gate Entertainment owed them money for not delivering what they promised. Well I have no idea what they were expecting because this game is awesome. It is the funnest game I think I have ever played, and I promise you will love it. I just finished it and I couldn't wait to write the review to let you know how great this game is. The game takes place in a world called Albion where you are trained to be a warrior, and later to become a hero. You complete quests (for good or evil) to gain strength, power, and most of all fame. You can choose to conquer all evil and be on the good side, or you can steal, kill, and work with bandits and other mercenaries to obtain great power on the evil side. Every decision you make effects your life story and you never play the game the same way twice. It is always different because there are so many paths you can take in life. You also fight in the Arena like gladiators for much fame and fortune. You can show off your your trophies you aquire from slaying large foes and gain tons of fame and renown all over Albion. The game does not have the basic taking turns RPG concept at all, and you don't go into battle mode or anything like the Final Fantasy Series. Instead you just run up to the people and kill them with swords, large greathammers, and many other weapons. You can also shoot them with many different kinds of longbows and cross bows. You can use Will powers which are like magic. You can shoot lightning or fireballs and many other cool will powers. You must fight to gain experience points so that you can learn new powers or upgrade your strength and health. With the money you get from completing your quests you can buy over 300 different items from weapons to potions to gifts and clothing. You can also buy houses and live in them or fix them up rent them out for money. You can also get married to women in different cities and then they will live in the houses you own.
As you can see from the little I have written this game is awesome, but there is only one thing I didn't like about it. That is that I think it was too short (it took me about 12 and a half hours to complete). I mean on a game like this you don't ever want it to end, but especially not in 12 hours of gameplay. I was just getting into the game real good when it ended, so it was kinda disappointing. I don't want that to scare you off though because you would be missing out on the best game ever if you didn't play it. The more you play it the better it gets, and it even starts out great. If you look on the cover of the game the graphics look kinda bad, but the game graphics are not bad at all. It has great graphics and beautiful background scenery. Well last of all I promise that you will love this game, and if you don't play it you are missing out on one of the best games of all time.
Game: Fable
Gameplay: 9.5

It was absolutely amazing when i finally got this game home and played on it. They milked it and milked it and then didn't release the thing and then finally, it came out. I played the game for hours and hours. I'm one of them RPG gamers who leaves out nothing and by the end of the week I had done it. A game being made, designed and thought up from the 80's right up to the millennium and it only took me a week? If this game had of been maybe Twenty hours longer and had an interesting story line it would have easily rivaled old school classics such as final fantasy and Grandia.
However it is still an amazing game the battles and equipment scenery and accents of locals is mind blowing! Each character has some hilarious voice that you would expect farmer giles off the fast show to have! It is also more open than any other game in the world it even rivals games such as Vice city etc purely for the fact YOU choose the destiny its not set like a normal game. However it is difficult to get your self killed - all enemies, and bosses are very easy no matter what strength or skill's your character possess.
However I was expecting more aspects of games such as boldurs gate and Ice wind dale the fact that the main character has to be a man and can only be a mage, thief or warrior? Come on think about it such an amazing game and you can only be one of three main people?
After having done the game twice I would say it is one of the greats of its time one of the best games on the x box for playability unlike graphics which is all the x box seems to be about. If you do buy this game be evil, and don't be a knight its too easy!

Here's My View On Fable: I'm Not An Role Playing G
Here's my view on Fable: I'm not an Role Playing Game (RPG) player. I'm more of a First Person Shooter (FPS) type. Halo and Halflife are my favorites. But I thought I'd give this game a chance. I started with the game and quickly became disinterested with the slow beginning. But after a few days, I came back to it and decided to see just what I could do with this game. After a couple of hours I became completely engrossed in the game. It's become something I look forward to when I come home from work. The character development, the aquisition of power, strength, and guile, and especially the will powers. I find the use of magic in the game simple to use (which is not common) and very useful. Too often RPG's are too complex to hold much interest for me. But, in the end, I found that the interface with this game had become second nature. I would almost not call this an RPG, but more of an FPS with bladed weapons and magic, as well as character development. I know it's not perfect, but for a game, it's highly enjoyable and visually stunning. And the most fun is playing single player with a girlfriend that constantly reminds you how to treat the women...laugh out loud.
Your completely right and that was a well writen review.

To Be Honest, I Was One Of The Millions Of Gamers
To be honest, I was one of the millions of gamers that was waiting restlessly for Fable to release last September. When it was released though, I wasn't too impressed by the game. For the first couple hours of gameplay I was pretty amazed by the graphics and the choices you have. But after battling and getting into the story, it was just the average RPG game. It had it's moments, but only a few.
I hear some people make the same statements that you made and I really have no idea what you were expecting. This tops all RPG games and pushes the XBOX to its limits. You can only do so much with an XBOX game and Fable definitely lives up to any reasonable expectation.

Fable Is Captivating But Not So Original Action/rp
Fable is captivating but not so original action/rpg. Just read the good/bad points and you'll see! It probably will be nominated as best rpg of the year for Xbox and it deserves it! Maybe not the fanciest game ever made but all in all it gets the job done. A good game for someone who loves the action/rpg genre or someone who just wants to burn time.
I agree 100% with your review and just wanted to let you know that you did a good job writing it.

Well I'm Not One For Rpg's But The Hype Surroundin
Well I'm not one for RPG's but the hype surrounding Fable had me interested.
At first the thought of looking for teddy bears and buying chocolates really put me off.
However when the action started I was hooked, it has got to be one of the most engrossing games I have ever played and I get bored very easily.
Even now I want to go home and play it to see how evil or good i decide to become, it's great.
I understand that some people are dissappointed with the free will aspect as you have usually only two choices the good way or the bad way but every game has to have some structured game play.
I would recommend this to anyone A+.
I agree very much with what your review said.

Fable - In My Opinion, This Boasts The Best Graphi
Fable - In my opinion, this boasts the best graphics of any XBOX game and is by far the most advanced. It has everything you want from an RPG/action game from little details like having a shave, kicking chickens about and getting drunk with locals in a village pub to awesome battle sequences and stunning weapons. It's pretty sad but you do get a thrill every time you can afford to buy a better type of glove or find an upgrade to your sword whilst digging about in some graveyard.
I chose to be a nice guy and ended up with white hair, bright blue eyes and a halo (with what I thought were butterflies hovering over my head). Every action, garment you wear and your appearance influences the way bystanders view you. Brilliantly amusing touches such as people cheering you as you walk by just compounds the experience. And as you grow in renown, by undertaking quests and buying names for yourself (everyone shouts Chicken Chaser at you if you don't buy a name), folks will literally fall in love with you.
The quests themselves are pretty straightforward and only really become taxing very near the end. Killing goblin-like monsters in a cave to save a kidnapped boy, protecting a farm from bandits and escorting merchants about are all good fun though. Some aspects of the game are pretty dark and one part made a little tingle creep up my spine.
Before I bought the game I was slightly put off by the fact that you start off as a small boy and have to perform mundane tasks such as finding a teddy bear but I soon found out that boyhood only lasts for a little while and then the good bit kicks in. I got used to the controls fairly easily and the level up system is pretty similar to Star Wars KOTOR.
Here is the big But... It is far too short! It totally lets the game down. You feel like your half way through when it all abruptly ends. It's as if the designers ran out of ideas or funding. It really did annoy me. Don't let this put you off however, it is definitely a must have game, even if you only play it all the way through once.
I have completed the game and to be honest, I am pretty useless at any type of videogame. I'm pretty sure that the last game I actually finished was Super Mario Bros 2 on the NES! So it isn't exactly a Metal Gear.
After all the hype I was massively disappointed, but not with the overall game itself but by the fact that it just seems half complete. Maybe they will bring out an add-on to lengthen it by at least another 20 hours?? If this is the way they're going to make games from now on, I'm never leaving the house and will be fed through a tube!

Fable - As Of Right Now, I Can't Say, Because It H
Fable - As of right now, I can't say, because it hasn't come out, but I've had it pre-ordered since April, but I'm very excited about getting the rpg of the year for Xbox and simply for any other system for that matter. The graphics, voice acting, and and value will definitly soar through the roof!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, seriously. You can't review a game before it comes out. I know it is out now, but when you wrote that, there was still a month before it came out. And besides, that game did suck.
