Whilst Rolling Up Characters And Equiping Them Is

Whilst rolling up characters and equiping them is now easier, the introductions of feats and skills as well special rules on spell casting and combat improve realism but at the cost of extra complexity. Younger players (under 12) may struggle with the rules, so not advised for this age group. Older players may wish to use Computer software to speed up character generation and level rises, which is now slightly more long winded than 2nd edition.

The choice and description of equipment and weapons/armour is much improved but the use of special attacks and feats etc can slow combat down whilst everyone tracks down the page in the combat section, a summary would have been useful.

Personally I find the priest turning rules more complex than before and preffered the old system. I believe 3.5 has been now superceded by 4th edition.

In summary could been made a little more easier to look up combat actions, but adds more realism than 2nd edition.
