Deirdre Bair, Simone De Beauvoir: A Biography

Very well written. shows Mlle de Beauvoir in a way that is non-intrusive, but more personal than memoirs. I've read this book twice and loved it each time. Ms. Bair shows a side of De Beauvoir that i was looking for in De Beauvoirs memoirs. De Beauvoir comes alive and is very human. A good introduction to those who want to know about her and her life.
