Remington WDF1000G Super Smooth Steam Straightener

I bought the Remington WDF1000G Super Smooth Steam Straighteners quite cheap, and thought they sounded good because they had deep wave and crimping plates also, but they made my curly hair dry and frizzy, and not that straight. I also had to go over my hair several times before it even looked remotely straight. The deep wave plates were totally useless and didn't seem to do anything different to my hair, however, the crimping plates are really good, and I would definitely recommend them, but it seems a bit silly to buy the product just for that fact! At least I didn't pay a lot for them... only £19.49 in the sale!

I got the Remington Straighteners for christmas last year.

I used them on Boxing day and I have to say my hair looked ok, but I wasn't impressed with the overall look, and the fact that I had painstakingly put in water for the steam that never appeared.

Last week I had my hair cut and straightened at the hairdressers and she used GHD straighteners, well I was impressed with the look and the way they straightened every curve in my hair and replaced dull frizziness with straight, healthy looking hair.

Now, I want some GHD's but have read the horror stories, I am currently looking for alternatives, but I would not recommend these to anyone.

Remington WDF1000G Super Smooth Steam Straightener - I have quite frizzy/wavy long hair. It takes very long to straighten my hair with these straignteners, and they leave it looking dry and frizzy, and not sleek and smooth as I would like. They may be ok for people with short hair that is only slightly wavy, otherwise I wouldn't recommend these at all.
