I Bought This Straightener In 2004, And Used It Da
I bought this straightener in 2004, and used it daily. It was excellent on my thick textured hair. In 2006, it broke - would not heat up at all. I went back to the salon and asked them where I could get it repaired(since I did not keep receipt, box, or warranty papers). They gave me the phone number and address for Dannyco (Canada), and when I called they just instructed me to mail in the straightener with a $12 check for return shipping, and would let me know how much it would be to fix once they assess it. However, 1 week later, surprisingly they mailed me a brand new straightener (same model)! It has worked consistently for me since then.

My Ceramix Died On Me This Morning. The Light Come
My Ceramix died on me this morning. The light comes on, but the plates do not get hot. To be fair, I have had it for over 6 years. I have wavy hair and my Ceramix just never really seemed to get it completey straight. I would recommend it for straightening bangs and strands, but not an entire head of hair.

I Had My Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron For Maybe 2 Years
I had my Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron for maybe 2 years and it just died out of the blue. it stopped heating up. and so I have read on I see this is a common problem! I am angry because it is supposed to be professional... but it doesn't seem professional to me. If anyone knows of a good brand please let me know.

Overall I Don't Think I Will Buy This One Again Be
Overall I don't think I will buy this one again because my first one did not last long and, I don't like the warranty, especially the store policies warranty.
i'm 23 years old ..w/.very long curly/wavy hair ..and i bought my 2nd Isinis straightener in January 2005 (the first one i had for 2 years) and mine were both used almost everyday for straightening and curling my hair (yes..curling w/ this model is easy because of the felt coating and curve of the outter blades..the felt is worn of mine for curling the ends of my hair ..lol)
i have the 1\" Isinis Ceramix # IS2565c Best Ever!
I left this thing plugged in for hours on a few different occasions and it still worked great... it felt like it was gonna melt, but that was 2 years ago.. anyways i'm on the hunt for another one exactly the same.
I Miss This Model..Please Bring It Back.. No Changes To it!!!

The Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron Is Light. Not Hot Enou
The Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron is light. Not hot enough and my salon wouldn't replace (after I only used it twice!). They said it was fine. I've bought better for 1/5th the price.

I Have The Basic Model Of The Ceramic Fat Iron Str
I have the basic model of the Ceramic fat iron straighteners. I got it discounted from a friend who used to be a hair dresser for $80 CDN. It does heat up very fast, but I have very curly hair and until I figured out that you have to go over the bits you are straightening with a rat tailed comb, it didn't work very well. Now I'm pretty satisfied. I've had it for about 3 years, and it works fine for me. I don't use it too often though.

Just Like Everyone Else - It Fails After 2 Years.
Just like everyone else - it fails after 2 years. I own my own salon and have 22 employee's. None of them purchase Ceramix anymore due to the poor quality. We have had 16 fail in less than a 2 year span. Save your money and get another brand.

I Am Very Disappointed With The Ceramix Ionic Flat
I am very disappointed with the Ceramix Ionic Flat Iron hair straightener. I paid 149.99 CAD just over 2 years ago, and this flat iron lights up, but does not heat up at all. It is useless, and I have had to invest in another flat iron long before I had planned to. It was a lot of money for something that only lasted a couple of years.
