Philishave Super Reflex HQ6859

The Philishave Super Reflex HQ6859 is a great electrical razor. I was bought it as a Christmas present and have found it to be really useful. When you first start using it you can get quite bad shaving rash (especially on the neck) but after a few weeks your skin does adapt.

I have found that using this electric shaver does reduce the amount of time it takes to shave but also does not deliver the closeness that my Gillette Mach 3 used to provide - But you have to expect this. The battery is excellent and outlasts what it says it would on the box - I find I only have to charge it once every 1.5 weeks even though i'm using it every day.

According to the manual, if I look after the razor (clean it after every use) I will only have to change the blades every two years but as I have only had it just over a month I cannot prove/disprove this.

After using this electric razor I think I would find it hard to return to wet shaving, the ease and speed of use, elimination of shaving cuts and ability to use it anywhere far outweigh any possible negatives that this razor may have.
