Triband Was The Main Reason I Bought This Motorola
triband was the main reason I bought this Motorola Ti250 but the menu system was the worst I've seen. Too many button presses to get to the info required. Also adding numbers is horrendous.
Screen visbility is bad and view options are worse still.
Sorry won't be buying Moto again.

I Bought This Ti250 Mobile Phone Because I Trusted
I bought this Ti250 mobile phone because I trusted that Motorola could make good products. The phone contained all the features I wanted (IR, Tri Band, Alarm Clock, WAP).
Unfortunately, as soon as the display screen is scratched you have to run and find a shady location (preferably no light at all). Secondly, although the features are useful the makers of the software haven't a clue how the outside world looks. A lot of repetitive button pressing at the menu screen, only to be lost when you press C once. When I wish to make a phone call, I shouldn't be asked if I am certain that I wish to call that person. The same with the message function. It takes more time to locate the person that you are sending it to than to type the message. The last problem is the receiver. My thoughts are louder than the speaker, so how can I be expected properly understand the person at the other end?
Great toy for gamers and trekkies, for everyone else not.

The Motorola Ti250 Is One Of The Best Business Mob
The Motorola Ti250 is one of the best Business Mobile Phones I've ever had. Compact, stable, a Good all-rounder, with the limitations of being a WORK tool, not a play thing.
Not as user friendly as Nokia, but usable, and with use of the shortcut button it even works better than any Mobile phone I've ever used. Wap is Good, it has a good browser.

Motorola Ti250. I Am Happy To Say I Am Now Getting
Motorola Ti250. I am happy to say I am now getting a new mobile phone. A year with this dog of a product has been quite enough.
I bought this unit when I was working in Hong Kong- it's a P7689 (known as Timeport 250 in UK). This means it has Chinese software in it, which I never use, it's always set to English. Maybe that's why it crashes about once a week- Chinese SW hogs the internal memory.
Sound Quality- OK
User interface- awful. Many key presses, no logical layout...
Battery life: has never been more than 2 days, fading now.
Phone crashes regularly. Occasionally the display reverts to 'mirror writing' without warning. Doesn't drop calls as much as my previous Nokia 7110 (also a dog of a product due to SW bugs).
Have been unable to make WAP access work in the UK, some kind of software problem, which I am expected to pay £40 to have fixed. No way, guys!
The colour has worn off most of the keys after a years use. The back panel has a habit of falling off, it's most flimsy in construction
The only thing I shall use it for now is my once-yearly visit to the USA, which is the only time I shall use its Triband features.
All in all, I can't recommend this product. The Motorola customer service experience I have had has been mediocre- no interest in sorting out the problems I have been having.
All in all, I can't recommend this product.

I Purchased The Motorola Ti250 Mobile Phone As I N
I purchased the Motorola Ti250 mobile phone as I needed a tri band phone and this was available. It was the worst mistake I ever made. The phone superficially looks quite good, but look closer and it's really cheap and nasty with a finish that that is not as good as my son's toy mobile phone and which the paint rubs off!! Inside the sim card holder tells all, as it is a piece of design that comes straight from a toy manufacturer.
The text is nigh on invisible as it is a faded black on a vaguely luminescent blue and as the screen is very easily scratched its viewability is zero. The text size for most of the menus and functions is also very small and very thin.
I had to change the phone before its contract expiry time as I found it worse than useless. After paying all the penalties for early change I purchased a Sony Z7e. What a difference!!!

I Bought This Ti250 From Motorola As It Was One Of
I bought this Ti250 from Motorola as it was one of the few tri band phones available at the time. In two years i have hardly used it. There are loads of useful features that are easy to use, such as voice dialing that works well. One button press and you are into memo recording etc. BUT all the most used features such as the phone book,,phone setup and sms message handling are awkward and require too many key presses. As for iTap well it has put me off buying a Motorola ever again. It works but is clumsy and frustrating. Aaahh
just to say that the i-tap texting can be turned off as well as on and the text function can be used just like a normal mobile phone (eg.nokia)

Generally, the Motorola Ti250 is a good phone. It has a few bad points, just like some other MOTOROLA phones, but it also have some functions that many phones haven't. I just have to say that this is a great phone for money it costs ( I paid it 150 EURO - with no contract)
