The Text Messaging Is Annoying On The Motorola E10
The text messaging is annoying on the Motorola E1000 because you can't set it to predictive and you have to change it every time you send a message. It's also annoying if you want to set your alarm to go off every day because you have to reset it every single day! And the phone isn't really reliable. It stopped working properly, then it started working again. Then it stopped charging and I had to send it to 3 who gave me a new one, but the red button doesn't work on the new one, so it's really difficult to hang up or switch off. The camera is alright, but there is no flash, just a light. If you just want to ring people then I guess it's an alright mobile phone.

The Motorola E1000 Is A Great Mobile Phone. I Have
The Motorola E1000 is a great mobile phone. I have had no problems with it so far. The coverage is perfect where I live, so calling is clear and fluent. The camera quality is better than I expected, and the 8x zoom doesn't take any clarity out of the pictures.
Screen quality is amazing, and the screen is very big and bright. It displays things very clearly. The design is one of the best things about the phone. The buttons on the side of the screen work very well and look great. The phone is made out of glossy black and matt grey plastic.
Voice dialing is easy and reliable; just hold the the call button, say the name, and the phone will dial. Sound quality is perfect, and the audio player is very good and loud. Headphones can be put in on the side of the phone.
Overall, this phone is great for people who want a great phone with lots of multimedia capabilities.

I bought the Motorola E1000 mobile phone due to the cheap deals for mega minutes, and I have regretted it since.
It has a shed load of features that I don't use, and the address book is difficult to navigate. The battery lasts a day on just normal calls.

I Got A Motorola E1000 Mobile Phone A Few Months A
I got a Motorola E1000 mobile phone a few months ago. It was fine until it started not to charge, then the battery went flat, and since about June it hasn't worked. I handed it into Vodafone, and they said a component in the phone had corroded which wasn't covered by the warranty. They won't do anything about it, so I am steaming! Can anyone help please?

Ok, So The Motorola E1000 Mobile Phone Has To Be T
OK, so the Motorola E1000 mobile phone has to be the best phone I have ever had!! The sound quality is amazing (especially if you put you fingers over the speaker holes to block out the piercing treble). It has a great camera, and it is so easy to put things on your phone. If you spend £20 and buy a memory card, then you can fit 300 MP3 files onto your phone, which is better than a lot of of MP3 players. The screen quality is great, and the phone is incredibly easy to use. I think the phone is great.
The slight problems with the phone...
The screen scratches really easily, so I have just bought a case, which works beautifully. You can't put iTunes songs onto the phone (well I can't anyway), but you can put Cd's and any downloaded songs onto it.
The video quality is blurred.
You can't fit iPod headphones, which also means you can't fit standard headphones into it, but the headphones that came free with the phone are fine.
The battery lasts a day, if you play a couple of hours of MP3's, around 30 minutes of talking, a few texts, a few photos and videos, basically, a lot of use. You can easily get 3 days out of it when using it normally. I don't mind charging it every night, before I go to bed.
If these points put you off then fine, but remember this is a very good phone. If you want a camera, buy a camera! If you want an MP3 player, buy one of them. But if you want a phone which has an OK camera, and an OK MP3 player, is an excellent phone and has other excellent features. Then buy this phone! You will not regret it!
In response to the itunes problem, if you change the input format on itunes from m4a to mp3, using the tools menu. You can then highlight the song in the itunes window, click advanced and select convert to mp3. I hope this helps you

The Motorola E1000 Is A Nice Phone, I Am Very Sati
The Motorola E1000 is a nice phone, I am very satisfied so far, the only major problem is that I have to restart phone a couple of times per day due to it can not connect to GPRS services after the phone used 2G roaming where 3G is not available.
I have recently bought the E1000, and although i first had my doubts, i am delighted with it so far!

The Motorola E1000 Has Great Potential To Be The G
The Motorola E1000 has great potential to be the greatest phone of the year and of the Motorola era. It exceeded all expectation of mine, and was a far better quality phone than its rival the Siemens CX1.

I Owned My Motorola E1000 For 2 Weeks And Sent It
I owned my Motorola E1000 for 2 weeks and sent it back as I didn't like it as much as my old NEC E616. I'm a bit of a txt addict and that was the main thing I didn't like about this phone. The things that annoyed me about it were:
1. You had to check if txts went into more than one page - it didn't tell you automatically
2. I couldn't seem to get the delivery reports to stay on all the time - you could only set them up per txt as far as I could work out
3. After being on the screen saver for 5 mins or so it went onto powersave mode where the screen went completely dark & looked like the phone was switched off. If texts came through whilst it was on this mode and you didn't notice straight away, or if you had a missed call whilst at work or somewhere where you're not constantly looking at the phone, it didn't display them, so you would have to press a button on the phone to light it up and check if you had any missed calls or txt messages!
4. You could only store around 45 txts in the inbox and 45 in the outbox - on my NEC I've got over 500 messages saved!!
5. Battery life was short, which admittedly it is on the NEC also but at least you can carry the spare battery around and change it if it runs out
Apart from that it's a good phone.
Oh thanks for that. I've got a Nokia 6680 now though, which I much prefer!
The problem with the lack of alert with txts.
two main ways to sort this out:
1. Turn powersave off
2. On you ring styles there is something called reminders, set that to beep and it will beep every so often to alert you you have a txt or missed call.
or even have it on loud setting, this way you should hear if someone rings you, also vibrate alerts anyone anytime

Only Had My Motorola E1000 4 Days But Here We Go!
Only had my Motorola e1000 4 days but here we go! I've always had the natty phones with lots of features - usually on their first day of launch. Toys, inter-connectablity, and style is important to me.
I've been with 3 on the original LG and decided to move to the new e1000 due to all the low rate charge packages which are around. I bought online, ordered at 6:15pm it was delivered to work at 08:30am the next day (Carphone warehouse). 500 mins and 100 texts at £15 a month (via chequeback at month 11).
This thing feels and looks different to other phones, very slick and all the buttons and menu's seem to be in the right places although it does have a reasonable amount of re-configuration options including the phone or data reset option (easy to re-configure and then re-set to standard).
I have all the latest technology at home (wireless lan, robots, etc) so this thing had to fit in without wires and complexity. Blue tooth sees to all that - connected to my Dell easy peasy and transfer of pics and music is a doddle. Bought the 128 card (awaiting 256 card too). One thing I did notice is that if you load the card with music via a card reader the songs do not display in the "sounds" menu, however they are picked up by the integral MP3 application. If you load songs via Bluetooth they are displayed in the sounds as well as the mp3 application, but this is slower. In future it's either bluetooth or I will buy the proper data cable.
Not as easy as a basic Nokia for texting, however the multimedia messages are a real treat - receiving them is a joy with music and moving images. The kids tell me that you cant default in the request for receipts from messages - you have to do this every time. (PS - I bought 3 handsets for the kids too)
The online 3 web thing is pretty cool, lots of chargeable downloads and lots of free stuff too.
Also you must try the GPS mapping and quick find. Need to be outdoors but this thing will tell you to the nearest 3 meter's exactly where you are and then map street maps for things you want to find - very natty - would imagine it would be great fun in a big city.
The video camera is exceptional, the quality on playback (using the phones wide screen display) is brilliant and also very good when downloaded to a PC.
The MP3 is a new concept to me, I am now addicted, for a really special feeling lay on the bed, rest the phone on your chest looking at the screen and the stereo sound is really very, very good. Some of the installed sounds are wicked too - somehow the dual speakers do create a wrap around sound effect.
Last but not least - the alarm function can wake you with an mp3 track instead of a horrid alarm sound - makes Monday mornings slightly more bearable!
Finally, you can also make phone calls with it but the 3 reception in this area is dreadful, however most of the other services don't even work at all near here.
Buy it, does exactly what it says on the box!
Thanks very much for your info, I wasn't sure which 3g phone to go to next (nokia or motorola) but now I'm definitly going for the moto. Thanks a lot freddy!?

I Had My Doubts When I Got This Phone On The Talk
I had my doubts when I got this phone on the talk and text 900 deal with The Link online. To be honest, I thought the Motorola E1000 would be cheap and cheerful, but I couldn't have been more wrong. This is my first Motorola phone, and I am pleased with its easy to use menu and many functions. If you are looking for the phone with everything, look no further - the E1000 has MP3 player, camera, video camera, and Bluetooth Technology and the usual standard features.
It is easy to call people, and to send picture and text messages. You can browse the services 3 have to offer for free, and download videos and music (at cost!)
The one thing that I am impressed with though, is the fact that you can look (for free) on 3 services how many minutes and texts you have left to use, and you can see last month's total. This is great, as you will never use more than you have on your contract!
In short, it is a bit bigger than the stylish nokias out at the moment, but so much better in terms of what it has to offer.
Do not hesitate to go on 3 because of the network either, as I have had no problems in and around Manchester and in Leeds.
