Kogan Tv's

I recently read a review in the ERT Trade magazine about Kogan saying that were one of the largest suppliers of TV's etc in Australia and they were now attempting the UK market.

I decided with this information to buy two tv's 26" TV/DVD and a 32" Smart TV. This is when it went wrong small tv arrived in faulty state so had to report this by email as they do not list any uk numbers. Large tv okay quality not the best but not the worst. However I decided to return both sets and was then advised that I had to pay for return of sets to them. To cut a long story short I ordered sets beginning of July and after 1 email per day as they communicate from Australia I have only now received full monies back to my account appart from the £10 I had to pay for the return of the 32" TV.

So before you buy be aware

1 There is now UK service back up or Comms (Goods despatched and returned to UK addres only.

2 All comms come from Australia so be prepared for 1 email per day unless you stay up to early morning and hope you get a quick response

3 You will get your money back but be prepared for a wait use secure site paypal etc as safety net.

Hope this helps at 1 person.

Kogan Agora 8” Tablet – Dreadful – Total Waste Of Money

I recently bought this tablet and can confirm that it is a total waste of money and the supplier (Kogan) is the worst company you will ever deal with.

Here are the good points about the supplier and the tablet:

NONE

Here are the bad points:

The tablet weights a ton and feels like you are holding a brick

It is not recognised by App market so although you have App market installed, google wont let you install even the most common apps (e.g Skype)

It does not support flash / 4oD, BBC iplayer etc

Every now and then, when you take it out of standby, it crashes with a blank screen and the only way to recover it with a hard reset.

The company is absolutely terrible in terms of communication. Once they take your money, they will never ever reply to you (in case you have a problem) so forget about any customer service in case of a problem. They claim to cut out the wholesalers and retailers in an attempt to deal directly with the customer and yet they don’t even bother to reply to their customers.

I am telling from experience that this tablet is simply not worth wasting £100 - £130 on.

Not the same item, but looks like the start of the same very poor customer support.

Just bought a 24" TV from kogan.

Price was good, delivery was early and basic set up was fine. and I felt quite pleased.

2 days after delivery, I tried the usb function and zilch, nothing, The facility did not appear as an option on my tv. input source menu screen ( Software issue) ?

Immediately contacted customer support recieved an automated response with conversation ref number and an assurance of 'we will get in touch soon'.

Yeah right. 24hrs later and following a second second email to them and zilch, nothing, silence.

Having done some limited research on line, it would appear this is par for the course for Kogan.

Oh dear, I can accept that faults in products occur, and will accept a reasonable remedy.

However, I will not tolerate being ignored.

My next step is to return the malfuntioning item at their expense for a full refund.
