Avoid Epos Direct, Emporium, E--novations.!!!

The best thing about this system is it is easy to navigate, and easy on the eye, the system I got rid of after just over 18 months was running out of date XP, I had to install it myself and teach myself how to use it, When they transferred the data from quickbooks, it was all wrong and I had to spend weeks manually editing 2500 items, they could not link up the barcode scanner that they sold me, had to do it myself, hen you ring the 0870 number, noone speaks clear English, IF they resolve the many issues we had with their product, they always caused a different problem. I had a black screen after 12 months, they said it was a hardware issue and tried to sell me a hard drive, they also said I would be charged £250 for my own data to put onto a replacement hard drive, they also wanted a further £250 plus vat for their useless 'support package'. After many phone calls and emails, AND leaving negative reviews, they finally agreed to provide a new till (still on the old xp mind), for free, then hen I asked for a costing on a second till, they quoted £1500. I replaced their system with one from a good company but they are still demanding licence fees for a system I no longer use, and could never be used properly.

Never Belive Any Rating More Than 1 Star

Honestly do not trust any rating that has given more than 1 star to this software or its personals.

Terrible terrible software full of bugs and all they want is money, They do not even have a user manual, nothing.

No one is in-charge and every one is in-charge there, you will never know who to contact, When you have problem, all they concentrate on is the money first and your problem ...oh forget they will not resolve it.

They make terms as and when they like,The person you speak with will dictate you terms. Not professional at all, takes ages to reply emails.

They are very deceiving and you will only know this when you deal with them.

Honestly this company claim to have presence in all continent while they operate from a cabin in Canary wharf???

It is not possible that this buggy solution can so widely be used, all misleading claim.

They will promise you moon while deliver you bugs.

Their Head office software is actually a remote login to their actual server can you imagine? Every time you connect it download software on you PC to clot your storage. Only one person can login at one time, if you need another concurrent user login, well yeah shed money first, 2K for yearly licence.

DON EVEN THINK TO GIVE THEM RING.

Waste Of Money

We have bought 5 soft wares from E-Novation company who is using this software

we paid more then 2000 Punds for the soft wares. after 3 months they have blocked the software and now it need codes, and the company is requesting us for more money which wasn't mentioned in contract.

the software is full of errors if you buy it you will have daily headache.

Same happened to us. Unfortunately we are a small business and cant afford lawyers so have become hostage, £220+vat per year charged when clearly told no ongoing licence/maintenance fees.Customer service is worse and language is insulting!

A Nightmare Of Cheating, Missell And Eking Out Money Sham

I bought the emperium retail epos till system was charged £1800, double the normal price in market, but told no charges after buying, but after 1 year was forced to buy the key for £360 and monthly maintenance, was told I was foolish to think no charges, how will software companies run if we don't pay them monthly? feel cheated, befooled by bullying sales persons and non accountable staff when we call indian call centers. very meagre help to lauch the till in my shop as we have to use booker or bestway menu but we are independents, staff at india wont know uk retailer conditions. we had to manually enter too many items, only on phone help was provided and we feel bashful to ring again and again for small things.i would prefer a person coming to settle the till initially.

we wanted to know full cost of the till and not initial big payment of £1800,monthly instalments are a pain and we never wanted them so agreed to pay more

Very unlikely, probably employee of company, My £1700+vat system has wires dangling out of casing. 3 YEARS on and still not fixed. Could go on all day
