I Am Using Video Lab 10 And It Is Easy To Get Arou

I am using Video Lab 10 and it is easy to get around in for a first time video editor.

I do not recommend to buy this product, get one from someone else in my opinion. I spent 5 afternoons editing a cruise trip and had the system crash at least 10 times, then when I finally finished I tried to burn it and got an error code and have not been able to to burn my cd yet. I tried to e-mail customer service and it would not go through it seems. Therefore I do not recommend Sonic Basic MyDVD.

I Have Had This Product On My Dell Inspiron 6400 F

I have had this product on my Dell Inspiron 6400 for a while now and I have found it very useful for single movies or other small files but if you try and add more than one movie then my computer crashes. It is a good program considering it came free with my laptop but can cause major problem as it takes a long time to work and even longer to erase a half completed, unformatted disc.

I Have Mydvd Le 5, Supplied Pre-installed On My De

I have myDVD LE 5, supplied pre-installed on my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop. The program has been a dream to use. A few problems occurred with some media (wouldn't play) but these disappeared when I tried an alternative manufacturer.I burn slideshow projects created from photos and video clips from my Canon PowerShot A510 digital camera, using Windows Movie Maker.I also create DVD folders on a hard disk with built-in Media Player that connects to my TV.

Bought A New Compaq Computer As A Back Up Computer

Bought a new Compaq computer as a back up computer, as we sell How To DVD's about how to service your own Oil Fired Heating Systems and Oil Burners, and we sell hundreds a month!! The computer came with the Sonic MyDVD burning software. Turns out it works FANTASTICLY well, and we have never ever had any problems or issues. People complaining are most likely those that have computers that are not compatible with the software, or it could be non-compatible Hardware. But I have been using it since May 1st 2006, and I have burned over 1700 DVD's, and I have not had a one issue!

The Sonic Basic Mydvd Is The Most Unreliable Hunk

The Sonic Basic MyDVD is the most unreliable hunk of garbage on the market today. And their web site is equally horrendous. Don't walk away from Sonic - RUN, as fast as you can.

I Aquired This Sonic Basic Mydvd Software When I B

I aquired this Sonic Basic MyDVD software when I bought my new DELL pc tower. As I am interested in burning video and still onto CD, I did try to use the software. Everything you want to do requires you to "upgrade". In fact the pre- installed software allows you to do virtually nothing. You need to order the "Deluxe" version before you can do anything. This upgrade came from Germany and cost over £40. To install the upgrade takes less than 15 seconds so that shows how far your money has gone. AND I still need to buy an "analogue video capture card". As all these cards come with their own software- including MyDVD deluxe in one case- you are left wondering why you were stupid enough to buy the upgrade in the first place. Delete this program, it's just a cheap ripoff.

My copy of "My DVD version 4.5.2" came on the CD disk with "Sony Screenblast Movie Studio" and for me, they were both a waste of money. The Movie studio section was the editing section, and might have some good features, but I don't know. It was very complicated and hard to use. When I tried to get customer service they said they don't provide customer assistance except for the upper level programs. "Would you like to buy an upgrade?" Once I finally pieced together a basic movie just to try it the real fun began. There's no way to insert chapter points except during capture by hitting the space bar at the point you want it. But how do you know until you do the editing in the first place. The only way is to render only one section at a time and that becomes a chapter which must be saved on the hard drive. When your done you pull all these sections together to make a movie. VERY time consuming and difficult. Another problem is that it was finicky about reading AVI files, and doesn't read WMV files from windows movie maker program. Don't get it. In fact, I don't trust the Sony name. Upgrade that!

The Number Of Times The Sonic Basic Mydvd Crashes

The number of times the Sonic Basic MyDVD crashes is unacceptable. Even being careful to save your work often doesn't help when mysterious DVDErr-19013 renders your project un-openable. Tech support's solution? "You need to re-author your project". I spend several hours over several days working on a project and their expert solution is to just start over.

The Sonic Basic Mydvd Gui Was So Well Designed Tha

The Sonic Basic MyDVD GUI was so well designed that any computer novice can quickly pick up and move on with her project. However when running into problem, the error message is absolutely non-sensical, giving no clue whether the cause is hardware, driver, application, or project itself. Support staff on the web appear lack of experience in using the product (MyDVD) and lack of support experience as well. Most solutions are not solid, but phrased in the context "we think", "we recommend", or "try this first."
