The Dm10 Is Only Available In The Second Hand Mark

The DM10 is only available in the second hand market now, as Densen has only made a certain number of them, and discontinued production perhaps because of the high price of this amp.

The DM10 was created in an effort to design the best possible intergrated amplifier, regardless of cost.

Technicaly, it's a 75 W / Ch./ 8 ohm per channel, dual mono design, with two seperate toroidal power transformers and a total of 80,000 mF (!) of custom build smoothing capacitors, in it's two power supplies.

It uses no negative feedback at all, and it depends on extremely high quality output devices for its very refined sound.

It uses no pre-amplifier stages, instead feeding the incoming signal directly on the power amplifiers.

It's a true 'wideband' design, with a range of 4 - 400,000 Hertz, very impressive to say the least.

The sound of the DM-10 is almost, valve like, and single ended valve at that.

It has a velvety sound that gives harsh recordings a 'shine' making them listenable.

Some may say it's not the most neutral amplifier around, but, as Densen put it, "..life's too short for boring hi fi..".

What you get with the DM 10 is a lot of fun, emotion and musicality that most other amplifiers can only dream about.

Best, in my view, for Classical Music, Jazz and real instruments (as against electronic ones), conveys the timbre of each instrument with conviction and makes listening to Music a thoroughly enjoyable event.

The highs of this amplifier is something extrordinary, you get the finer detail without it being bright, harsh or sibilant.

The timing and rythm and pace of the DM-10 are also amazing which is ,I am sure, one of the reasons this amplifier is so listenable.

If you're looking for an amplifier that pulls Music into bits, better look elsewhere, but if you're after Musicality and emotion, do listen to a DM10, and chances are you will get hooked to the sound of this very seductive amplifier.

And finaly, the amplifier weighs 17 kilograms and it's much larger, both wider and deeper, than your average intergrated amp so you need a rather solid and deep rack for this monster.
